06/22/2026 – Warrant Arrest
At approximately 1851 hours, PO Titterington responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident at the intersection of Frank E Rodger's Blvd, and Harrison Ave. After a license check of the driver’s, Mr. Yehzid Solano was found to have two active warrants. He was placed under arrest and transported to HPD HQ for processing. Mr. Solano was later released after bail was posted on his behalf.
06/25/2026 – ATS CONTEMPT WARRANT ARREST
Officer Anthony Cecere observed Kenny Thomas, whom he recognized from prior police encounters and knew to have an active warrant, seated near Frank E. Rodgers Blvd. South and Harrison Avenue. Sgt. Patrick Triano and Officer Carlos Delgado responded to assist. A warrant inquiry confirmed Thomas had an active Harrison ATS Contempt Warrant with $600 full bail, along with an additional Jersey City warrant with $50 full bail. Thomas was taken into custody without incident, transported to headquarters, processed, issued court dates for both warrants, and released on his own recognizance.
06/26/2026 – DWI ARREST / OBSTRUCTION / AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
Officer Anthony Cecere conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a vehicle being operated erratically on Harrison Avenue near Frank E. Rodgers Blvd. Officer Connor McClelland responded to assist with the investigation. During the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, rear passenger Jasnen Valencia repeatedly interfered with the investigation by refusing lawful commands, exiting the vehicle, yelling at officers at a very close proximity preventing officers from safely conducting their investigation. She was placed under arrest for Obstruction. Officer Carlos Delgado assisted with the field sobriety tests due to a language barrier, and the driver, Adrian Sanchez-Morillo, was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
Upon arrival at headquarters, Valencia became combative and actively resisted officers throughout the processing procedure. She refused to comply with commands, intentionally dropped to the floor, kicked Officer Nicole Yamucca, wrapped herself around the holding cell bench, repeatedly attempted to force her way out of the holding cell, struck Sgt. Iker Bermudez in the back, and attempted to punch Officer McClelland while in custody. Lt. Marc Silva assisted officers by preventing Valencia from exiting the holding cell and returning her inside so she could be safely searched.
EMS responded after Valencia sustained minor lacerations to her hand and foot during her continued resistance. She was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where she intentionally spit toward Officer Yamucca, striking her right shoe. Sanchez-Morillo later provided breath samples and was released to a responsible party in accordance with John's Law. Valencia was charged with Obstruction and three counts of Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer upon her release from the hospital. Assisting officers included Sgt. Iker Bermudez, Sgt. Patrick Triano, Officer Carlos Delgado, Officer Connor McClelland, Officer Nicole Yamucca, and Lt. Marc Silva.
06/30/2026 – Warrant Arrest
At approximately 0019 hours, while patrolling the business complex at 400 Bergen Street, PO Maitin observed a male identified as Mr. Julian A. Vega sitting outside the main entrance of QuickChek. Mr. Vega had prior law enforcement interactions and had previously been arrested by our agency. A record check check revealed an active NCIC warrant issued by the New York City Police Department with full extradition to the State of New York for Mr. Vega. He was placed under arrest and later transported to Hudson County Correctional Center awaiting extradition.
06/30/2026 – Package Theft Arrest
On 06/30/2026 PO Robinson responded to Cleveland Ave on the report of a package theft. Upon arrival he met with the complainant, who stated that she observed a black male open a sealed package, taking the contents and discarding the box in front of her residence. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black and white hat, light-colored shirt, light blue jeans, with a dark colored hoodie wrapped around his waist and dark colored sneakers. P.O. Oliveira advised that he was with an individual matching the suspect's exact description and known to officers through prior encounters, identified as Jermaine Rabb. Additionally, Mr. Rabb was found to be in possession of the stolen items. Mr. Rabb was then placed under arrest and later transported to the Hudson County Correctional Center.
