Secaucus Police Blotter: June 29, 2026 to July 5, 2026

1. On 06/29/2026 at 2:51 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Lodi Police Department to take into custody a 29-year-old male, Quameek Jefferson of Wood Ridge, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Jefferson was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

2. On 06/29/2026 at 9:32 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested the following individuals; a 21-year-old male, Seiku Sillah of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Employing a juvenile during a commission of a crime [2C:24-9A], a 17-year-old juvenile male of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)], a 17-year-old male of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)], a 20-year-old male, Muhammed Sidibeh of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], Employing a Juvenile during a commission of a crime [2C:24-9A] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3], a 16-year-old male of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], a 16-year-old juvenile male of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] and a 17-year-old male of Lodi, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. The 2 adult males were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody. The 5 juvenile males were all issued their juvenile complaint summonses and were released into the custody of a responsible adult.

3. On 06/30/2026 at 12:11 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 52-year-old male, Kamal Johnson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $700.00. The Jersey City Police Department did release Mr. Johnson on his own recognizance. Johnson was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

4. On 07/01/2026 at 11:21 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 33-year-old male, Malcolm Green of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $7,500.00 with a 10% option. Green was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently released from police custody.

5. On 07/01/2026 at 4:24 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old male, Shane Cohan of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Cohan was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

6. On 07/03/2026 at 9:18 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Residence Inn Hotel located at 800 Plaza Drive on a report of an individual taking food from the breakfast buffet who was not staying at the Hotel. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old male, Mencey Sanchez-Castillo of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000.00 with a 10% option. Sanchez-Castillo was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

7. On 07/03/2026 at 6:57 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 50-year-old male, Lamone Payton of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office in the amount of $1,000.00. Bergen County did release Mr. Payton on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Payton was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

8. On 07/05/2026 at 7:54 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old female, Sophia Olivera-Salcedo of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option. Olivera-Salcedo was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.


These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
