Secaucus Police Blotter: July 20, 2026 to July 26, 2026

1. On 07/20/20026 at 9:22 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old male, David Dios of Garfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Saddle Brook, NJ in the amount of $550.00. Mr. Dios was further charged with Failure to Advise Police of Carrying a Handgun [2C:58-4.4] when he was found to have a valid Concealed Carry Permit. Mr. Dios was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 complaint summons and was released from police custody.

2. On 07/20/2026 at 5:31 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police in relation to an incident where a moped failed to stop for the police on 07/19/2026 when signaled to do so and continuously attempted to evade the police, the police arrested an individual, identified as a 17-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for Eluding [2C:29-2B]. The juvenile was arrested at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. The juvenile male was charged with Eluding [2C:29-2B]. The 17-year-old male was issued his juvenile complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

3. On 07/21/2026 at 6:06 PM, Officers from the North Bergen Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take into custody a 52-year-old female, Melissa Prominta of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Prominta was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Buprenorphine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] and Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Ms. Prominta was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $200.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $100.00. North Bergen along with the West New York did release Ms. Prominta on her own recognizance pending future court dates. Ms. Prominta was unable to post bail for the outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ. Ms. Prominta was issued her complaint summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

4. On 07/22/2026 at 4:22 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old male, Julio Sarmiento-Barrera of Ridgefield Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Little Ferry, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Sarmiento-Barrera was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

5. On 07/24/2026 at 08:26 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Traffic Bureau in relation to a motor vehicle crash that occurred on 07/05/2026 on Route 3 West, the police responded to North Bergen, NJ and arrested a 19-year-old male, Walter Pazmino of North Bergen, NJ for Assault by Auto [2C:12-1C(2)] and Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Pazmino was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

6. On 07/24/2026 at 7:37 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit arrested a 63-year-old male, Juan B. Rodriguez of Hoboken, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Gabapentin [2C:35-10.5E(2)], Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Clonidine Hydrochloride [2C:35-10.5E(2)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Mr. Rodriguez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

7. On 07/26/2026 at 4:02 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 56-year-old male, Henri Barlatier of Cliffside Park, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Barlatier was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

8. On 07/26/2026 at 1:26 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot on a report of a Theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24-year-old male, Wycker Arias-Barahona of the Bronx, NY along with a 20-year-old male, Jhon Tenorio-Barahona of the Bronx, NY for Theft by Deception [2C:20-4] and Conspiracy to commit Theft by Deception [2C:5-2A(1)] . Both Mr. Arias-Barahona and Mr. Tenorio-Barahona were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

9. On 07/26/2026 at 4:27 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40-year-old male, Dennis Suero of Fairview, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] and Certain Persons not to have Weapons (a knife) [2C:39-7A]. Mr. Suero was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.


These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
