Arrest July 31, 2026 – DWI
On July 31, 2026, at 2050 hours, P.O. Nicole Yamuca observed a vehicle driving with no taillights illuminated in the area of FER Blvd South & Jackson Street Bridge. A motor vehicle stop was conducted & P.O. Santiago Gomez arrived on scene to assist. While officers were speaking to the driver, Ms. Alsaymeen Alexander, there were signs of intoxication observed. Ms. Alexander was asked to exit her vehicle to take field sobriety tests, which were performed and failed. Ms. Alexander was placed under arrest for DWI & later she provided breath samples with a BAC of 0.27%. Ms. Alexander was issued multiple summonses, and released to a responsible party.
August 1, 2026 – ATS Warrant Arrest
At 2145hrs, PO Yamuca conducted a random license plate inquiry on a black Victory motorcycle, that resulted in the registered owner having an outstanding ATS warrant out of Passaic Township in the amount of $750 full cash bail. The motorcycle was stopped in front of 331 Cleveland Ave & PO Naprawa arrived on scene to assist. Upon making contact with the driver, it was confirmed he was the registered owner Mr. Luis Oyola. Mr. Oyola was advised of the warrant, placed under arrest & transported to police headquarters for processing. Mr. Oyola was processed, posted bail & was released pending his new court date.
August 2, 2026 – ATS Warrant Arrest
At 1357hrs, PO Maitin conducted a random license plate inquiry on a black Mercedes-Benz, that resulted in the registered owner having an outstanding ATS warrant out of Union City in the amount of $750 w/ 10% bail option. The vehicle was stopped in the area of FER Blvd South / Riverbend Drive & PO Vargas arrived on scene to assist. Upon making contact with the driver, it was confirmed he was the registered owner Mr. Jonathan Ortiz-Cordova. Mr. Ortiz-Cordova was advised of the warrant, placed under arrest & transported to police headquarters for processing. Mr. Ortiz-Cordova was processed, posted bail & was released pending his new court date.
August 2, 2026 – MVA with injuries, resulting in DWI Arrest
At 2146 hours units were dispatched to FER Blvd North & Sherman Ave on a report of a four-vehicle motor vehicle accident with injuries. While PO Anthony Cecere was speaking to the driver of vehicle #1 Ms. Briana Quinones, he detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her breath. Ms. Quinones was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which were completed & failed. She was arrested, transported to police headquarters, & processed. Ms. Quinones submitted breath samples, resulting in a 0.17% BAC. She was issued several motor vehicle summonses & released to a responsible party as per John's Law.
August 2, 2026 – ATS Warrant Arrest
At 2353 hours while conducting a directed patrol of the 7-Elveven, PO Yamuca observed a black Volkswagen with heavily tinted windows exiting the parking lot. A license plate inquiry revealed the registered owner had multiple outstanding ATS warrants totaling $900.00. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on the Bridge Street Bridge & it was confirmed the driver was the registered owner. Mr. Antwan Cutillo was asked the exit his vehicle, advised of the outstanding warrants & arrested. Mr. Cutillo was transported to police headquarters, processed on the warrants and released on his own recognizances pending his court dates.
August 4, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At approximately 20:19 hours, while patrolling the area of Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S, PO Rueda conducted a motor vehicle stop on a white 2019 Buick Tourx after a random license plate inquiry revealed that the registered owner had an active ATS warrant out of Harrison in the amount of $1,000.00. He spoke with the driver, Mr. Alquan R. Scott, who was confirmed to be the registered owner. Mr. Scott was advised of the active warrant and subsequently placed under arrest. He was later released from police custody on his own recognizance.
August 4, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At approximately 19:29 hours, while patrolling the area of S 5th St, PO Rueda conducted a motor vehicle stop on a black 2024 Maserati Grecale after a random license plate inquiry on a vehicle revealed that the registered owner had one (1) active ATS warrant out of Harrison in the amount of $600.00. He then spoke with the driver, Ms. Beatriz A. Rodriguez who was confirmed to be the registered owner of the vehicle. Ms. Rodriguez was advised of the active warrant and subsequently placed under arrest. She was later released from police custody on her own recognizance pending a future court date.
August 4, 2026 – DWI Arrest
At 0010 hours, while patrolling the area of North Third Street and Hamilton Street, PO Castellano observed a vehicle, a white 2023 Buick Envision traveling northbound on North Third Street fail to maintain its lane and crossover the double yellow line on multiple occasions. He conducted and traffic stop and met with the driver, Mr. Manuel Calva-Calva who displayed signs of impairment. Mr. Calva-Calva was placed under arrest for DWI, processed and later released to a responsible party.
August 5, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At approximately 0206 hours, P.O. Diouf and PO Gangi were dispatched to a home on Washington Street on a report of a male party trespassing in the backyard of the residence. Upon arrival, they proceeded to the backyard, where they observed a male asleep on the canopy swing. They spoke with the male party, now identified as Mr. Daryl M. Harris, who stated that he did not reside at the residence but was looking for a place to sleep after leaving work. A check of Mr. Harris’ license revealed that he had an active ATS warrant out of Piscataway in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Harris was placed under arrest and transported to HD HQ for processing, he was later released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
August 5, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At approximately 2229 hours, PO Castellano and PO Rueda conducted a motor vehicle stop on a Black Honda Fit after a random license plate inquiry revealed that the registered owner had an active ATS warrant out of Fairfield in the amount of $550.00. The driver, Ms. Kia R. Chambers was confirmed to be registered owner and was subsequently placed under arrest due to the active warrant. She was later released from police custody on her own recognizance.
August 7, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At 0044 hours, while patrolling the area of Frank E. Rodgers Blvd. S. and Harrison Ave., PO Anthony Cecere conducted a random license plate inquiry of a silver 2024 Toyota RAV4.. This inquiry showed an AOC hit for the registered owner to have an active warrant out of Kearny for $1,000 full cash and another out of Elizabeth for $500, 10% allowed. A motor vehicle stop was conducted & the driver, Mr. Ruben Torres was confirmed to be the registered owner. Mr. Torres was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters for processing and posted bail on his outstanding warrants. Mr. Torres was released pending his new court dates.
August 7, 2026 – DWI Arrest
At 2120 hours, P.O. Hector Rueda observed two vehicles double parked and both drivers outside their vehicles. PO Rueda was advised by a female driver that her vehicle was struck by the other vehicle while she was driving on McCarter Highway in Newark. The female party was advised how to properly report the MVA with Newark PD.
While speaking with the driver of the second vehicle, Mr. Henry D. Ojeda Oritz, PO Rueda observed signs of impairment & a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. PO Gerard Castellano arrived on scene to assist & officers conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests on Mr. Ortiz, which he failed. Mr. Ortiz was placed under arrest for DWI & transported to police headquarters for processing. At HQ's, Mr. Ortiz provided breath samples with a BAC of 0.086%. Mr. Ortiz was issued multiple summonses and released to a responsible party as per John's Law.
August 7, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At 1800 hours, officers responded to Essex County Correctional Facility to pick up Mr. Damarcus Noack who had an outstanding warrant out of the Town of Harrison. Mr. Noack was processed, treated at JCMC for an injury, received medical clearance for incarceration & transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his court date.
August 8, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At 0016 hours, while patrolling the area of the Jackson Street Bridge, PO Nicole Uamuca observed a red Honda traveling northbound on Frank E. Rodgers Boulevard with tinted windows. A license plate inquiry revealed that the vehicle's registration was expired and that the registered owner had two active ATS warrants: one out of Englishtown in the amount of $1,000.00 and one out of Jersey City in the amount of $500.00. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at the intersection of Frank E. Rodgers Boulevard South and Riverbend Drive. After making contact with the driver, it was confirmed that the registered owner Mr. Enmanuel Reyes was driving the vehicle. Mr. Reyes was advised of his outstanding warrants, arrested & transported to police headquarters for processing. Mr. Reyes was unable to post bail & was released on his own recognizances with two mandatory future court dates.
August 8, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At 1400 hours, PO Carlos Delgado & PO Cindy Alba responded to Maplewood PD to pick up Mr. Devin Shea who had an outstanding warrant for $1,500.00 out of the Town of Harrison. Mr. Shea was processed & transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his court date.
