1. On 08/03/2026 at 8:14 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to a an incident of Forgery and Theft in May, 2026, the Secaucus Police arrested an 18-year-old male, Zahnir Frisby of Upland, PA for Theft by Deception [2C:20-4A] and Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)]. Mr. Frisby was arrested at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Frisby was subsequently processed and released from police custody.
2. On 08/02/2026, the Secaucus Police was notified by the Montclair Police Department that they had issued an arrest warrant for an individual who resides in Secaucus, NJ. On 08/04/2026 at 12:02 AM, the police observed the individual walking towards Wood Avenue from Maple Street. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33-year-old male, William Shutte of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Montclair, NJ with no bail. Mr. Shutte was subsequently transported to the Montclair Police Department.
3. On 08/04/2026 at 12:37 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old male, Lance Bolger of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Bolger for transport back to their authority.
4. On 08/04/2026 at 4:44 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 40-year-old male, Jonathan Benigno of Lake Hiawatha, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mount Olive, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Garfield, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Both the Mount Olive and Garfield released Mr. Benigno on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Mr. Benigno was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
5. On 08/04/2026 at 7:20 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Woodbridge Police Department to take into custody a 25-year-old male, Leonidas Mena-Perez of Carteret, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount
of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Mena-Perez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
6. On 08/07/2026 at 12:37 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the local WalMart parking lot on a report of two small children being locked inside of a hot vehicle without any open windows. Officers arrested a 48-year-old French National male, who was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2C:24-4A(2)), and released on a summons.
7. On 08/07/2026 at 3:17 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Jose Aguilera-Guerra of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Haldeon, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Auiglera-Guerra posted his own bail, and was released from custody pending court. He was issued a motor vehicle summons for 39:4-126(B) (Failure to Signal Before Right Turn).
8. On 08/07/2026 at 4:38 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the local Marshall’s on a report of a shoplifting that had escalated when the actor pushed the loss prevention officer and fled in a vehicle. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle in the area that matched the description and arrested a 46-year-old male, Steffon Fowler of Orange, NJ. Mr. Fowler was charged with Shoplifting (2C:20-11B(2)) and Possession of Burglar’s Tools (2C:5-5A(2)) and found to have two additional warrants ($6,500 Warrant issued out of Hoboken, and a No-Bail Warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office). He was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
9. On 08/08/2026 at 2:12 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 325 Front Street on a civil dispute with a moving company. One of the involved parties, Kenneth Smalls, a 38-year-old male of Garfield, NJ, was found to have an outstanding warrant for $750.00 out of Passaic, NJ. Mr. Smalls was arrested on this warrant and subsequently able to post bail. He was released pending court.
10. On 08/09/2026 at 4:34 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the local WalMart on a report of shoplifting. Officers on scene arrested a 44-year-old female, Diane Wilson, of East Orange, NJ and charged her with Shoplifting (2C:20-11(B)1). Ms. Wilson was found to have seven (7) other outstanding warrants out of various jurisdictions (West Windsor, Edison, South Brunswick, South River, Watchung and Union) totaling $7,050.00. She was placed on a warrant for the Shoplifting charge and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
