August 21, 2026 - Warrant Arrest
At approximately 2212 hours, PO Soltis conducted a motor vehicle stop after random license plate inquiry on a grey Kia Optima revealed an active ATS warrant out of Palisades Interstate Parkway Police in the amount of $750.00 for the registered owner of the vehicle. Officer Soltis was able to identify the passenger of the vehicle as the registered owner, Ms. Christela Colo who was then placed under arrest and transported to Harrison HQ. She was later released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.
August 22,2026 - DWI Arrest
At approximately 0045 hours, PO Gangi arrested Mr. Coello Ortega for DWI after he fled the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which he struck multiple parked vehicles. After Mr. Ortega was processed; he was released from police custody to a responsible party.
August 22,2026 - Warrant Arrest
At approximately 1102 hours, while patrolling the area of Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S, PO Rivera black Hyundai obstructing the entrance to the Fuel 4 gas station preventing other vehicles from entering the gas station. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and met with the driver identified as Ms. Shaquanna D Jackson. A check of Ms. Jackson's identification card yielded multiple active ACS and ATS warrants out of Trenton, Newark and Burlington. Ms. Jackson was then placed under arrest and transported to HPD HQ for processing. She was later released from police custody on her own recognizance pending future court dates.
August 23, 2026 - Aggravated Assault Arrest
At approximately 0039 hours, PO Gangi was dispatched to a residence on Scott Mobus Pl on the report of a male party who was struck in the head with a bottle causing a laceration to his head. Upon arrival, he met with the victim who stated that he was struck over the head with a glass Heineken bottle, causing a large laceration and bleeding to the center of his forehead by a male party who had fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was able to provide information about the defendant who was then positively identified as Mr. Freddy SilvaBallarte. Shortly thereafter, communications received a call in regard to a male party sleeping outside of a residence on Central Avenue. Units responded and confirmed him to be Mr. SilvaBallarte. He was placed under arrest and transported to HPD HQ for processing. Mr. SilvaBallarte was charged with Aggravated Assault and later transported to Hudson County Correctional Center.
August 23, 2026 - DWI Arrest
At approximately 0123 hours, PO Soltis was dispatched to 216 Harrison Avenue on a report of a 2-car Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival, he met with the caller who stated he was parked on the westbound side of Harrison Avenue when a Gray Ford Fiesta sideswiped his vehicle, causing the driver's side mirror to fall off. The vehicle in question failed to stop and then pulled into El Meson's parking lot. He observed two males exit the vehicle who were now standing outside El Meson. He then spoke with the suspect, now identified as Mr. Tayron A. Godoyillescas who later admitted to operating the vehicle. Mr. Godoyillescas displayed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest for DWI. He was later released from police custody to a responsible party.
August 23, 2026 - Shoplifting Arrest
At approximately 1608 hours, units were dispatched to 432 Bergen Street (Walgreens) on the report of a shoplifting. Communications advised that the suspect, was a black male wearing a green sweater, blank pants, white shoes and was last scene walking towards the Wendy’s. PO Barbosa was able to locate a male party matching that description. The male party, now identified as Mr. Paul Spana was positively identified by a Walgreens employee and subsequently placed under arrest. He was transported to HPD HQ for processing and later transported to the Hudson County Correctional Center.
