Secaucus Police Blotter 07/27/2020-08/02/2020

On 07/28/2020 at 3:42 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male, Renard Thomas of Newark, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Thomas was issued his complaint warrant along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/29/2020 at 3:40 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25 year old male, Javon Davis of Elmwood Park, NJ for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon (Brass Knuckles) [2C:39-3E]. Mr. Davis was issued his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 07/29/2020 at 6:51 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 40 year old male, Hector Reveron of Linden, NJ for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-5A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine within 500 feet of a Public Park [2C:35-7.1A], Failure to Turn Over CDS to Law Enforcement [2C:35-10C] and Possession with intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-3]. Mr. Reveron was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $350.00. Mr. Reveron was issued his complaint warrant along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/30/2020 at 3:26 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot at the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23 year old male, Jaqwell Wilson of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana 2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Wilson was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Wilson was issued his complaint summons. Mr. Wilson was unable to post bail on the involved warrant and officers from the Jersey City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Wilson for transport to their agency.

On 07/30/2020 at 4:15 PM, in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to an incident reported to the police on 07/15/2020 involving alleged criminal sexual contact, the police arrested a 63 year old male, Pedro Delgado of Secaucus, NJ for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact [2C:14-3A] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(1)]. Mr. Delgado was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 07/31/2020 at 12:10 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested an 18 year old male, Marcus Rivera of North Bergen, NJ for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(11)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(3)]. Mr. Rivera was served his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 07/31/2020 at 12:12 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of 8th Street and Flanagan Way. During the investigation, the police arrested an 18 year old female, Alina Ortiz of Secaucus, NJ along with a 17 year old juvenile male of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Ms. Ortiz was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. The juvenile male was issued his juvenile complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 08/01/2020 at 11:39 PM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel located at 40 Wood Avenue. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old male, Dwayne Wideman II of Brooklyn, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Wideman was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Wideman was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/02/2020 at 11:09 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Sam’s Club located at 300 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested an 80 year old male, Eugenio Brito-Comendador of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Brito-Comendador was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Union City Police Department.

On 08/02/2020 at 6:32 PM, Secaucus Police observed a vehicle parked near the Exxon Gas Station located at 209 Route 3 East where the operator of the vehicle appeared to be asleep. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42 year old male, John Castro of Minehill, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of CDS believed to be GHB [2C:35-10.2A], Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Minehill was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Morris County Sheriff’s Department with no bail. Mr. Minehill was issued his complaint warrant along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
