Secaucus Police Blotter 12/27/2021 - 01/02/2022

On 12/27/2021 at 3:09 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 40 year old male, Quaran Davis of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Davis was also charged with Exhibiting a Fraudulent Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B]. Mr. Davis was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses. Mr. Davis was unable to post bail for the warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ. Officer’s from the Jersey City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Davis for transport to their authority.

On 12/27/2021 at 1:03 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Salim Bradley of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Mr. Bradley was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department.

On 12/27/2021 at 10:10 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of 20 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a vehicle driving recklessly. During the investigation, the police arrested a 64 year old male, Robert Foglia of Woodland Park, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] for having in his possession an Axe. Mr. Foglia was issued his complaint summons along with his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 12/28/2021 at 8:03 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old male, Raysean Mbaye of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hawthorne, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Mbaye was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 12/29/2021 at 4:13 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Walmart parking lot located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a dispute. It was reported to the police that one of the involved parties had shown a baseball bat during the dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 62 year old male, David Mercado of Jersey City, NJ for Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(3)], Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D]. Mr. Mercado was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $1,815.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Mercado was able to post bail for both involved warrants. Mr. Mercado was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 12/30/2021 at 7:56 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a dispute in one of the rooms. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45 year old male, Adam Delaney of Hicksville, NY for Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, specifically a hunting knife [2C:39-5D] and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, specifically an expandable metal baton [2C:39-3E]. Mr. Delaney was served his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 12/30/2021 at 6:41 PM, after entering Secaucus Police Headquarters for the purpose of retrieving a vehicle that was previously impounded, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Demba Diop of New York, NY for Exhibiting a False Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B]. Mr. Diop was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
