District Health Report - 1/28/2022

Posted Fri, Jan 28, 2022, From Secaucus Board of Education
Dear Secaucus Families,

I hope all of you are doing well. As we complete our second week of full-day, in-person instruction, we are pleased to announce that our district COVID-19 cases have dropped, in comparison to what they were previously.

The number of positive cases in our district is as follows:
  • High School - 2 students, 2 staff members
  • Middle School - 2 students
  • Clarendon: 2 students, 1 staff member
  • Huber: 2 Students
  • Millridge - 0

These 11 positive cases put our district total to 356 cases for the school year. At the state level, we are witnessing a similar drop in cases, which is a positive sign for remaining in-person for full days. As always, we are still ensuring that masks are being worn properly and that all of our COVID-19 protocols are still in place in all of our school buildings and offices.

Again, please continue to be vigilant in order to keep our community spread of COVID-19 relatively low. If anyone in your family is experiencing any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, please keep them out of school, see a doctor, and get tested!

The next round of FAQs will be posted next Friday, February 4th, on the district webpage. The Parent Communication Form is still open and can be accessed here for any questions, comments, or concerns you may have: https://forms.gle/wFy9mQYpd1HdzRuk7.

Thank you and enjoy the weekend!
