On 02/16/2022 at 2:43 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27 year old male, Jamill Davis of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. Mr. Davis was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Officer’s from the Woodbridge Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Mr. Davis. Mr. Davis was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of the Woodbridge Police Department.

On 02/16/2022 at 5:05 PM, While on patrol, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious individual located behind the China Chef restaurant located at 1285 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Lovett Rodriguez of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Rodriguez was also found to be involved in a shoplifting incident that had just occurred at the CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road. Mr. Rodriguez was also charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Rodriguez was issued his complaint warrant along with 2 summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 02/16/2022 at 9:29 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a hold up alarm coming from the McDonald’s area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31 year old male, Ali Moazeb of Jersey City, NJ for Defiant Trespass [2C:18-3B] after he was previously told he was not allowed on the Walmart property. Mr. Moazeb was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/17/2022 at 7:49 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33 year old male, Paulo Tierra of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $198.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Tierra was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/18/2022 at 2:25 AM, Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old male, Jeffrey Moreno of Wayne, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. It was further found that Mr. Moreno was involved in previous theft incidents at UPS and was charged with an additional 2 counts of Theft [2C:20-3A] for incidents that took place on 02/04/2022 at 02/08/2022. Mr. Moreno was issued his complaint summonses and was released from police custody.

On 02/19/2022 at 1:16 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Trolley Park located on Paterson Plank Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old female, llayda Gol of Lyndhurst, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ms. Gol was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional motor vehicle summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 02/20/2022 at 12:16 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 62 year old male, Edmondo Astone of Wayne, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Union, NJ with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Roselle, NJ in the amount of $350.00. Roselle did release Mr. Astone on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Astone was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Union Police Department.

On 02/20/2022 at 8:05 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 58 year old female, Abida Parveen of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Ms. Parveen was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
