On 11/08/2022 at 12:45 AM, Secaucus Police Department responded to CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of suspicious activity. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35 year old male, Michael Weiler of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Weiler was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 11/08/2022 at 6:22 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26 year old male, Christopher Geary of Hewitt, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Escape [2C:29-5A], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Theft [2C:20-3A], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] by giving false information to the police and Identity Theft [2C:21-17A(2)]. Mr. Geary was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 11/08/2022 at 9:30 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Traffic Bureau in relation to a motor vehicle crash that occurred on 03/19/2021 on Route 3 East, the police arrested a 21 year old male, Kennith Gonzalez of Union City, NJ at Secaucus Police Headquarters after Mr. Gonzalez entered Police Headquarters in order to get processed for the complaint summons of Assault by Auto [2C:12-1(c)]. After being processed for the summons, Mr. Gonzalez was subsequently released from police custody.

On 11/09/2022 at 8:45 PM, Officers from the NJ Transit Police Department transported a 59 year old male, Andrew Smith of Newark, NJ for 7 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,750.00 along with 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Smith was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 11/10/2022 at 2:55 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Harmony Suites located at 455 Plaza Drive on a report of an individual who was staying past the checkout time. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22 year old male, Walter Barajassilva of Brooklyn, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Barajassilva was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 11/10/2022 at 8:04 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 5th Street and Centre Avenue on a report of individuals who were reportedly pulling on car door handles. During the investigation, the involved individuals were located and subsequently ran from the police after being ordered to stop. Several of the individuals involved were located and the police arrested an 18 year old male, Cedric Durio of Newark, NJ for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] and Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(1)] along with a 17 year old male of Newark, NJ for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] and Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(1)] and a 16 year old male of Newark, NJ for Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A] and Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(1)]. Mr. Durio was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Both juvenile males were issued their juvenile complaint summonses and were released into the custody of a responsible adult.
