Warrant Arrest / Suspicious Person Investigation – April 8, 2026
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at approximately 2308 hours, P.O. Jonathan Andres Puglla, P.O. Carlos Delgado, Sgt. Patrick Triano, and P.O. Connor McClelland responded to the URBY parking garage at 777 South 3rd Street on a report of a suspicious male looking into parked vehicles. Upon arrival, officers reviewed surveillance information provided by security and located the individual matching the description. The suspect was identified as Desmond A. Albright. A warrant check revealed Albright had an active Harrison warrant in the amount of $1,000. He was placed under arrest without incident, processed at headquarters, and later transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

Warrant Arrest / Motor Vehicle Stop – April 9, 2026
On Thursday, April 9, 2026, at approximately 0236 hours, P.O. Carlos Delgado and P.O. Jonathan Andres Puglla were patrolling the area of Dey Street and Jersey Street when they observed a driver asleep behind the wheel of a parked vehicle. The driver was identified as Christell Theodore. A warrant check revealed Theodore had an active Harrison ATS warrant in the amount of $600 full bail. She was taken into custody without incident, transported to headquarters, posted bail, and was released with a new court date.

Warrant Pickup Arrest – April 9, 2026
On Thursday, April 9, 2026, at approximately 1619 hours, P.O. Salvatore Mainiero was advised of a warrant pickup from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office at police headquarters. Upon arrival, officers met with sheriff’s officers and took custody of Romeo Mayorga, who was wanted on an active warrant out of Harrison. Mayorga was searched, handcuffed, and transported without incident to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

Warrant Arrest / Motor Vehicle Stop – April 10, 2026
On Friday, April 10, 2026, at approximately 0815 hours, P.O. Karina Morel conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cleveland Avenue and Passaic Avenue after discovering the registered owner of a 2023 Audi RS5 had a suspended license and expired registration. The driver was identified as Edward A. Wingfield. A warrant check revealed Wingfield had an active warrant out of Burlington in the amount of $1,000. He was placed under arrest, transported to headquarters, processed, and later released after bail arrangements were made and a new court date was issued.

Warrant Arrest / Open Container Investigation – April 10, 2026
On Friday, April 10, 2026, at approximately 1338 hours, P.O. Salvatore Mainiero responded to 601 North 5th Street to assist Sgt. Freddy Lecca, who had stopped a male on the footbridge for an open container violation. The individual was identified as Omar Robles. A warrant check revealed an active Harrison warrant in the amount of $600 full bail, along with an additional warrant out of Kearny. Robles was placed under arrest, transported to headquarters, processed, and later transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility on the Harrison warrant.

Warrant Arrest / Traffic Violations – April 10, 2026
On Friday, April 10, 2026, at approximately 1925 hours, P.O. Anthony Cecere observed a black 2022 Honda Accord commit a traffic violation in the area of Harrison Avenue and Economy Supply Way. A motor vehicle stop was conducted, and the driver was identified as Jaquis L. Parker. P.O. Connor McClelland responded to assist. A records check revealed Parker had active warrants out of Union Township, including an ATS warrant and an ACS warrant. Parker was placed under arrest, transported to headquarters, posted bail on one warrant, signed release paperwork on the other, and was released with court dates.

DWI Arrest / Motor Vehicle Stop (0030 Hours) – April 11, 2026
On Saturday, April 11, 2026, at approximately 0030 hours, P.O. Jonathan Andres Puglla observed a silver Kia Sorento disregard a traffic signal and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cleveland Avenue. P.O. Carlos Delgado responded to assist. The driver was identified as Marcos A. Hurtado. While speaking with Hurtado, officers detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and observed signs of impairment. Standardized field sobriety tests were conducted, which Hurtado failed. He was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. A search of the vehicle revealed alcoholic beverages. Hurtado was transported to headquarters, refused breath samples, was issued multiple summonses, and was later released to a responsible party.

Warrant Arrest / Motor Vehicle Stop (0133 Hours) – April 11, 2026
On Saturday, April 11, 2026, at approximately 0133 hours, P.O. Anthony Cecere conducted a random license plate inquiry on a black 2009 Nissan Versa parked on Harrison Avenue. The inquiry revealed the registered owner had an active ATS warrant out of Kearny in the amount of $1,000 full bail. The driver was identified as Octavio A. Diazamacifuen. He was taken into custody without incident, searched, and transported to headquarters. Kearny Police Department later responded and took custody of Diazamacifuen without incident.

DWI Arrest – April 12, 2026
At approximately 0413 hours, PO Burgo conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection Harrison Avenue and 1st Street after he observed a 2019 black Volkswagen travelling westbound on Harrison Avenue on the opposite side of the road. After making contact with the driver, Mr. Andrew Quintos, PO Burgo observed that Mr. Quintos’ eyes were bloodshot/glossy, and there was an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. He asked Mr. Quintos if he had any alcoholic beverages to which he admitted to consuming 2 beers. Mr. Quintos was asked to step out of the vehicle to perform Standard Field Sobriety Tests, to which he complied. Mr. Quintos was unable to successfully complete SFST’s and was subsequently placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated, he was later released from police custody pending a future court date.

DWI Arrest – April 12, 2026
On 04/12/2026 at approximately 0319 hours, while on patrol in the area of Harrison Avenue and the Route 280 eastbound on-ramp, PO Castellano observed a red 2013 Hyundai Veloster nearly strike another vehicle at a traffic signal. The vehicle then traveled north on North Third Street, crossing over the double yellow lines into the southbound lane.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted at North Third Street and William Street. The driver, identified as Juan C. Pinzo-Abad exhibited bloodshot, watery eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanated from his breath. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, based on officer’s observations, Mr. Pinzo-Abad was placed under arrest for DWI. He was later released from police custody pending a future court date.

Warrant Arrest 04/13/2026
On 04/13/2026 at approximately 0754 hours, while proactively patrolling Harrison Ave and 5th St, PO Montoya conducted a random license plate inquiry on a white Chevrolet which revealed the registered owner had an active warrant out of Wall Township for $1,000.00, 10% bail.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted at Harrison Ave and 6th St. the driver was identified as the registered owner, Mr. Herber F. Cardona. He was advised of the warrant and was subsequently placed under arrest. He was later released from police custody on his own recognizance pending a future court date.

Location: 501 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S
P.O. Jonathan Puglla observed a motor vehicle violation and conducted a stop with assistance from Sgt. Triano, P.O. Delgado, and P.O. Cecere. The driver, Toma Karanoub, was found to have an active ATS warrant out of Bridgewater. He was placed under arrest, processed at headquarters, and later released on his own recognizance after bail was posted.

Motor Vehicle Stop / Warrant Arrest
Date/Time: April 14, 2026 – 2157 hours
Location: Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S & Harrison Ave
P.O. Anthony Cecere conducted a motor vehicle stop after identifying a suspended driver with an active NCIC warrant. The driver, Herber Cruz, was placed under arrest, processed, and transported to Hudson County Jail.

P.O. Alex Naprawa took custody of Sharae Talley from Verona PD for an active ATS warrant out of Harrison. The defendant was processed and held pending transport to Hudson County Correctional Facility.

Date/Time: April 14, 2026 – 2307 hours
Location: Harrison Police Headquarters
P.O. Nicole Yamuca processed Rosa Nunez Beltran after being turned over by East Newark PD for an active ATS warrant. Bail was posted on her behalf, and she was released with a court date.

Warrant Arrest
Date/Time: April 15, 2026 – 0059 hours
Location: Frank E. Rodgers Blvd S & Jersey St
P.O. Carlos Delgado, with assistance from P.O. McClelland and P.O. Cecere, detained Tyrese Buckhannon, who was known to have an active NCIC warrant and an ACS warrant out of Newark. He was arrested and transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility.

Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear)
Date/Time: April 15, 2026 – 1300 hours
Location: Harrison Police Headquarters
P.O. Jared Hoholick, along with Sgt. Lecca, arrested Osvaldo Ramirez after confirming an active failure to appear warrant. The defendant was processed and later released by the court after appearing before a judge.

Location: 30 E. Davis St
P.O. Karina Morel responded to a residence and arrested Ligia Padilla-Suarez for an active warrant out of Harrison. She was processed at headquarters after posting bail and provided with a new court date.

Date/Time: April 15, 2026 – 1621 hours
Location: Harrison Police Headquarters
P.O. Miguelangel Cosme arrested Matthew Taylor after he responded to headquarters and was found to have an active warrant out of Pompton Lakes. He was processed and released on his own recognizance with a new court date.

Date/Time: April 16, 2026 – 1353 hours
Location: Frank E. Rodgers Blvd & Sussex St
P.O. Karina Morel, along with P.O. Vargas and Sgt. Lecca, detained Jermaine Rabb, who was known to have an active warrant. He was taken into custody, and a search revealed drug paraphernalia. He was additionally charged and transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility.

Location: 400 Bergen St (QuickChek)
P.O. Carlos Delgado, with Sgt. Triano and assisting officers, arrested Rafael Rivera after observing him and confirming an active warrant out of Jersey City. He was processed and turned over to Jersey City PD.
