**Distance:** **14-15 miles (7.5m + 7.5m),** on flat trails and roads. This is a **moderate** walk at a pace of 2.5 mph. **There are drop-out points around 7.5-mile mark**, where you can take a bus back to the starting point. Please have the NJ Transit app ready or bring exact change for the fare.
**Walk:** **Join Us for a Mural and History walk through Downtown Newark!** Explore the vibrant streets of downtown Newark, covering neighborhoods such as the Central Business District, University Heights, Springfield-Belmont, West Side, and South Broad Street. This hike will showcase over 50 diverse mural artworks that adorn the city's walls, each telling its own unique story. Along the way, we'll also visit notable historical sites and enjoy the waterfront views of the Passaic River and the Dock Bridge, which is a significant part of the Gateway Program aimed at improving regional rail connections.
**Meet / End** **Newark Penn Station Main lobby** Take NJ Transit from Penn Station NYC or PATH from World Trade Center to Newark Penn Station.
