Secaucus Schools

Secaucus, New Jersey is home to approximately 3,800 people under the age of 18. To educate all of these kids, Secaucus has a great public school system made up of one Pre-K school, 2 elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. And just opened in 2018 is the new High Tech High School, a public school of choice.

Millridge School
Unlike the other schools in the Secaucus Public School District, the Millridge School only serves Pre-K students.
Clarendon Elementary School
Clarendon Elementary School serves Pre-K to 5th grade students. It has approximately 500 students and has a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1.
Huber Street Elementary School
Huber Street Elementary School serves Pre-K to 5th grade students. It has approximately 600 students and has a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1.
Secaucus Middle School
As the next step in their education, students graduating from Clarendon Elementary School and Huber Street Elementary School are combined into Secaucus Middle School. This school serves students from from 6th to 8th grade.
Secaucus High School
Secaucus High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school which covers 9th through 12th grade. It serves approximates 600 students, and it is physically connected to the Secaucus Middle School.
High Tech High School
High Tech High School, a public school of choice offered by the Hudson County Schools of Technology, provides the children of Hudson County with a challenging academic program in a technology-based environment.

The election for members of the Secaucus Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025. There are three (3) seats available, each for a term of three (3) years, which will be voted upon. The deadline for filing, to seek a seat on the nine-member board is July 28th, 2025 at 4PM. Nominating petitions are available from the Office of the County Clerk – Elections Division between 8:30am and 4:30pm. The County Clerk is located at 257 Cornelison Avenue 4th floor, Jersey City, NJ 07302. The contact number is 201-369-3470 extension 2767 or option 6. Completed nominating petitions must be submitted in person by 4:00pm on July 28th, 2025.
