**Our regular season has will open with new volunteer orientation on May 18th. This trip is open for those who regularly helped us fulfill our mission and ran our public program by volunteering during our public kayak days in 2023.** *If you did not have a chance to volunteer this year, we will begin to train new volunteers in May 2024.*
\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Let's paddle down to Morris Canal for breakfast! This is an **intermediate trip because there is very little current assist on the return to HCCB**.
**PREREQUISITES TO RSVP:**
1. Volunteered 4 full embayment shifts in 2023
AND
2. Completed a sea kayak/SUP training in 2023 with our boathouse and you felt comfortable in your craft with no issues keeping up.
AND
3. You show full control of your kayak/SUP
AND
4. You completed a novice trip in 2023.
**COME PREPARED:**
* Water shoes * Appropriate non cotton clothing for water and air temperature * Hat * Change of WARM clothes * Food or card/cash to eat a quick snack * Sunscreen * Water in a reusable bottle
**CRAFT:**
* Sit on top - not allowed * Sea Kayak - must have completed an intermediate round trip and passed time trial in 2023 * OC1/OC2 - Ke Aloha supporting paddlers with a Ke Aloha coach approval (have coach contact host) * SUP - must have completed an intermediate round trip and passed time trial in 2023 * Surfski - must have completed an intermediate round trip and passed time trial in 2023
