Organized by Inheritance Theater Project

Inheritance Theater Project (ITP) presents an original performance by and for the people of Hoboken.
A young person sets out to understand why her family may need to leave their hometown of Hoboken—and soon realizes the problems run deeper than she knew. As she seeks support from neighbors, we’re invited to consider what pushes people aside and envision a stronger community together. This performance was shaped by over 500 Hobokenites and 15 local organizations who joined the Inheritance Theater Project over the last 9 months to share stories, make art, and build relationships across the Mile Square City.
The lobby will open 30 minutes before each performance, dancing additional engagement opportunities for audience members
Friday, May 30 | 7 PM*
Saturday, May 31 | 2 PM*
Sunday, June 1 | 2 PM**
**Followed by a community reception! Stick around after the show to celebrate and connect with fellow audience and community members.
** Followed by a culminating block party! Don't miss the big finale - after Sunday’s performance, we’re throwing an outdoor block party—with refreshments, music, dancing, and the chance to learn more about the organizations and resources available to you in Hoboken! While audience members of all ages are welcome, we believe the show is best suited for ages 6+. There is mention of the Hoboken fires that could be challenging for young audiences.
