Burglary on 3rd Street in Harrison

On 03/13/2023, at 1046 hours, units were dispatched to the 100 block of 3rd Street on a report of a suspicious male in the building. After making contact with the party, and gaining his information, it was determined that the individual had an outstanding warrant for burglary. He was arrested and transported to headquarters. While at headquarters the arrested suspect had in his possession burglary tools, various items not belonging to him and a controlled dangerous substance. While officers were completing the reports and investigation video surveillance footage was obtained form the buildings backyard which showed the suspect entering into a structure. The suspect was charged with multiple crimes including burglary, burglary tools and being in possession of CDS. He was transported to the Hudson County Jail on the open warrant and the new charges filed against him.
