Secaucus Police Blotter 7/22/2019 - 7/28/2019

Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

On 07/22/2019 at 8:52 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 700 County Avenue on a report of a male walking in the middle of the roadway in the lane of traffic. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old male, Orlando Fabiani of Secaucus, NJ for an NCIC warrant issued out of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Fabiani was also found to have 3 warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $300.00, 1 warrant issued out of Hopatcong Boro in the amount of $500.00, 1 warrant issued out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $500.00, 1 warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $350.00 and 1 warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Fabiani was further charged with Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Mr. Fabiani was issued his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/24/2019 at 8:47 PM, Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Ave on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Deni Davis of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $1,208.00. Paramus Police Department did release Mr. Davis on his own recognizance and he was subsequently released from police custody pending a future court date.

On 07/24/2019 at 11:58 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Candlewood Suites located at 279 County Avenue on a report of a criminal mischief incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, Charles Lara of Millville, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Lara was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 07/25/2019 at 10:52 AM, Officer’s from the NJ State Police responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 42 year old male, Antonio Cruz of the Bronx, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ. Mr. Cruz was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 07/25/2019 at 1:42 PM, the Secaucus Police Detective Division responded to the Royal Motel located at 650 Route 3 West during a follow-up investigation of possible drug distribution occurring. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23 year old female, Alexandra Tyrrell of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Tinton Falls, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 with a 10% option. Ms. Tyrrell was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Suboxone [2C:35-10.5E(1)]. Ms. Tyrrell was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/25/2019 at 3:03 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 34 year old female, Danis Florez of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Florez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and she was subsequently released from police custody.

On 07/28/2019 at 1:11 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Meadowlands Parkway and Harmon Plaza on a report of a male sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle in the lane of traffic. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40 year old male, Venkata Kona of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Kona was issued a motor vehicle summons for the Driving While Intoxicated charge along with 3 additional motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released into the custody of Hudson Regional Hospital.
