Secaucus Police Blotter 11/20/2023 to 11/26/2023

On 11/20/2023 at 3:16 PM, an individual entered Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road for the purpose of receiving a release for his motor vehicle that had previously been impounded. During this interaction, the police arrested a 26-year-old male, Bladimir Encarnacioncruz of Paterson, NJ for Exhibiting a Fraudulent Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B]. Mr. Encarnacioncruz was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 11/20/2023 at 7:34 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Paterson Plank Road and Fairview Avenue on a report of a suspicious male. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28-year-old male, Aaron Morgan of Avenel, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Union County Sheriff’s Office with no bail and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Rahway, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Officers from the Union County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Morgan for transport back to their authority.

On 11/20/2023 at 9:29 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of 1301 Paterson Plank Road on a report of an individual sleeping in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22-year-old female, Donshana Martin of Jersey City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Martin was issued a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 11/21/2023 at 1:39 PM, Secaucus Police responded to T.J. Maxx located at 3 Mill Creek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 59-year-old female, Sylvia Gorham of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Ms. Gorham was able to post bail for both involved warrants and was released from police custody.

On 11/22/2023 at 11:15 PM, Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle crash in the area of 1351 Paterson Plank Road. Following the motor vehicle crash, the vehicle failed to stop. A motor vehicle stop was ultimately conducted with the involved vehicle in the area of 9th Street. During the motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 44-year-old female, Erlin Donate of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ms. Donate was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 4 motor vehicle summonses and she was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 11/24/2023 at 7:01 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a Shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24-year-old female, Neixer Pina Infante of Nashville, TN along with a 24-year-old female, Neiver Pina Infante of Nashville, TN and a 25 year old female, Esthafany Gonzalez Zamora of Nashville, TN for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Ms.Pina Infante, Ms. Gonzalez Zamora and Ms. Pina Infante were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 11/25/2023 at 6:12 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old female, Lamiya Laviolette of the Bronx, NY along with a 40-year-old male, Kendell Evans of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(5)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(2)]. Both Mr. Evans and Ms. Laviolette were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 11/26/2023 at 1:52 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33-year-old female, Hilary Arango Celis of New York, NY along with a 28-year-old male, Sergio Castro Murcia of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(2)]. Both Ms. Arango Celis and Mr. Castro Murcia were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 11/26/2023 at 3:12 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Hudson Regional Hospital located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual who had assaulted a nurse. During the investigation, the police arrested a 54-year-old male, Todd Lent of Kinnelon, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(5)(J)]. Mr. Lent was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
