Guttenberg Police Blotter - February 12th, 2024 to February 18th, 2024

1. On February 14th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 68th Street and Adams Street for a reported motor vehicle accident. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 28-year-old Mynor L. Chipix-Cux of Guttenberg, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Chipix-Cuz was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Chipix-Cuz was issued numerous summons for traffic violations and then released to the custody of a responsible adult.

2. On February 17th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 68th Street and Bergenline Avenue for a reported motor vehicle accident. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 27-year-old Darwin R. Cortez-Deleon of North Bergen, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. CortezDeleon was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Cortez-Deleon was issued numerous summons for traffic violations and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
