Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman
announce that on March 16, 2025, at approximately 9:40 a.m., members of the Passaic Police
Department responded to a residence in the area of 4th Street and Bergen Street in Passaic on a
report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found the victim, a 31-year-old female from
Passaic, with stab wounds. The victim was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital where she was
pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
