GUILTY VERDICT:
VICTOR I. ROSADO
PHILLIPSBURG, NEW JERSEY
Acting Warren County Prosecutor Jessica L. Cardone, Acting Chief of Detectives Brenton Warne, and
Phillipsburg Police Department Chief Anthony Goodell announce that on Thursday, April 17, 2025, a
Warren County jury found Victor Rosado, age 43 of Phillipsburg, New Jersey guilty of:
- Aggravated Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(1), a crime of the First Degree;
- Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2b, a crime of the second degree;
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1), a crime of the Second Degree.
The sexual acts occurred in 2015 and 2016 when the victim, who was known to the defendant, was between
the ages of 9 and 11 years old.
The Honorable H. Matthew Curry, J.S.C. presided over the trial. Rosado is tentatively scheduled for
sentencing on May 30, 2025. Rosado is remanded to the Warren County Correctional Center until
sentencing.
At sentencing, Rosado faces a sentence of 25 years to Life in New Jersey State Prison, subject to the Jessica
Lunsford Act. He will also be subject to Megan’s Law and Parole Supervision for life.
