On 04/15/2025 at 3:21 PM, Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of a theft of packages. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old male, Wesley Marte of Paterson, NJ along with a 24-year-old male, Juan Castellon of West New York, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A] and Conspiracy to commit Theft [2C:5-2A(1)]. Castellon was further charged with Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug [2C:35-10.5E(1)]. Mr. Castellon was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Marte was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Mr. Castellon was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 04/15/2025 at 5:31 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Michael Ellard of Lodi, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lodi, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option. Ellard was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On 04/16/2025 at 9:40 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old male, Troy Jackson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NI in the amount of $750.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. The Secaucus Police Department did release Mr. Jackson on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Jackson was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Union, NJ. Mr. Jackson was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 04/16/2025 at 7:56 PM, an individual entered Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road to report his motor vehicle was scratched with a key while parked in the Walmart parking lot located at 400 Park Plaza Drive. During the investigation, on 04/17/2025 at 5:14 PM, the police responded to the 100 block of County Avenue and arrested a 69-year-old male, Alex Arcega of Secaucus, NJ for Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)]. Arcega was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/18/2025 at 2:30 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Morristown Police Department to take into custody a 61-year-old male, Jose Cruz-Rodriguez of Morristown, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $600.00. Cruz-Rodriguez was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 04/19/2025 at 5:30 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old male, Corey Castro of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Castro was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.


These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
