On April 11, 2025, Millburn Police responded to a Falmouth St residence on a report of a delivered
package that was just stolen off the homeowner’s porch. The investigation led to the arrest of Carlos
Pimentel, age 26, of Patterson NJ. He was charged with the theft of the package.
On April 14, 2025, Millburn Police responded to Macys at the Short Hills Mall on a report a male
urinating in an aisle of the store. Millburn Officer Reid located the suspect, who appeared to be under
the influence of alcohol. Jason Wolfe, age 40, of Springfield NJ was charged with urinating in public and
lewdness.
On April 16, 2025 Millburn Police Officer Matos responded to Mavis Discount Tire on a report of a theft
that occurred. The manager reported that an employee stole 4 tires in the past and installed them on his
vehicle. The investigation led to the arrest of Paul Puma-Chuya, age 22, of Newark NJ. He was charged
with theft of movable property.
On April 17, 2025, during the early morning hours the Millburn Police Department responded to a
Joanna Way residence on a report of a burglary that just occurred. The actors entered the residence
through an unlocked door and took the homeowner’s keys to their vehicle. The actors then stole a
vehicle from the driveway. Millburn detectives Wichelns and Herrera along with Essex County
Prosecutor’s Office (ECPO) and Homeland Security (HSI) investigation led to the arrest of Alquan A.
Harris, age25, of East Orange NJ. He was charged with several counts of burglary, attempted burglary
and motor vehicle theft. He was also charged for the burglary that occurred in Millburn on Glen Ave on
April 2.
On April 17, 2025 Millburn Officer Griffin stopped a 2013 Nissan Altima at the Short Hills Mall. The
vehicle owner had an active warrant for his arrest out of Wayne NJ. The driver failed to produce a DL,
and refused to comply with officer’s directions to exit the vehicle. Back up officers arrived, and he was
placed under arrest without further incident. He was charged with obstruction and motor vehicle
violations.
On April 18, 2025 Millburn Officer Ford responded to a Knollwood Rd residence on a theft of a package
report. The suspect left the area in a white Mercedes Benz. Officer Ford located the suspect vehicle in
stopped in on Hartshorn Drive. The investigation led to the arrest of Emelyn Reynoso, age 24, Of Perth
Amboy NJ. A Juvenile in the passenger seat was also taken into custody. Reynoso was charged with the
theft of the package, receiving stolen property, and use of Juvenile to commit an offense.
On April 20, 2025, Millburn Police Officer Jezewski responded to single vehicle crash on Essex St. The
investigation led to the arrest of Jose Macario-Chitic, age 31, of Springfield NJ for suspicion of driving
while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI and refusal to submit a breath test. He was later released
to an acquaintance.
On April 26,2025, Millburn Police Officer Strumolo stopped a Porsha Cayenne on South Orange Ave for a
motor vehicle violation. The driver of the vehicle, Alize Nulls, age 29, of Paterson NJ had an active
warrant for his arrest out of North Brunswick. He was placed under arrest. Search incident to arrest,
which yielded two credit cards belonging to other individuals. The vehicle was then searched which
yielded controlled dangerous substance (CDS), 23 additional credit cards belonging to other individuals,
and a fraudulent driver’s license. Nulls was charged with possession of CDS, manufacturing distributing
CDS, credit card fraud, forgery, trafficking identity theft, and possession of false government document.
On April 27, 2025, Millburn Officer Neequaye stopped 2009 Audi at the Short Hills Mall. The owner of
the vehicle Adam Polomba, age 22, out of Long Valley NJ had an active arrest warrant out of Morris
County. The vehicle contained CDS and drug paraphernalia. He was charged with possession of CDS and
drug paraphernalia. Morris County Sheriff responded to Millburn and took custody of Polomba.
These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or
are found guilty in a court of law.
