1. On May 1st, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police
Department’s Patrol Division arrested 21-year-old Tommy V. Perez-Lopez of
Guttenberg, NJ, after discovering that he had an active warrant, issued by the
Passaic Municipal Court. Mr. Perez-Lopez was then transported to the Guttenberg
Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest
processing, Mr. Perez-Lopez was released on his own recognizance, pending his next
court appearance with the Passaic Municipal Court.
2. On May 2nd, 2025, 26-year-old Evans X. Diaz of Guttenberg, NJ, walked into the
Guttenberg Police Department requesting to turn himself in for an active warrant for
his arrest. Mr. Diaz was arrested, processed, and then lodged in the Hudson County
Correctional Center.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed
innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
