On 05/17/2025 at 6:39 PM, Secaucus Police was advised from an individual that his vehicle was struck by another motor vehicle while driving on Meadowlands Parkway. The involved vehicle did flee the area after the crash. On the same date at 8:13 PM, the police were notified of a stopped motor vehicle in the area of Flanagan Way and 6th street where the operator of the vehicle appeared to be asleep. This vehicle was found to be the vehicle involved in the hit and run motor crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29 year old male, Alexis Martinez of Passaic, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)], Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(5)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Martinez was issued his complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 05/18/2025 at 5:52 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 62 year old male, Charles Gore of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. Gore was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Gore was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
