1. On May 26th, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police
Department’s Patrol Division arrested 37-year-old Karina G. Paredes-Velasquez of
Bronx, NY, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ms. Parades-Velasquez was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for her arrest processing. Upon the
completion of her arrest processing, she was issued numerous summonses for traffic
violations and then released into the custody of staff from the Palisades Medical
Center.
2. On May 28th, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police
Department’s Patrol Division arrested 33-year-old Jaime A. Castro of West New York,
NJ, after discovering that he had an active warrant, issued by the West New York
Municipal Court. Mr. Castro was then transported to the Guttenberg Police
Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing,
Mr. Castro was issued multiple summonses for traffic violations and then turned over
to the custody of officers from the West New York Police Department.
3. On May 31st, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
responded to a parking complaint near 68th Street and Park Avenue. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 35-year-old Antwayn L. Mcdowell of North
Bergen, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Mcdowell was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the
completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Mcdowell was issued summonses for traffic
violations and then released into the custody of a responsible adult.
4. On June 1st, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident near 68th Street and Broadway.
During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 36-year-old Cesar A. GutierrezAmaya of Union City, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. GutierrezAmaya was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest
processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Gutierrez-Amaya was
issued summonses for traffic violations and then released into the custody of a
responsible adult.
