Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and West Milford Police Chief Shannon
Sommerville announce that on June 3, 2025, at approximately 6:04 p.m., the West Milford
Police Department responded to Clinton Road on a reported motor vehicle incident. A passenger
in a Jeep Wrangler fell out of the vehicle while it was traveling on Clinton Road in West
Milford. EMS attempted life-saving measures on the passenger, a 20-year-old male from
Haledon, but he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
