On 06/02/2025 at 12:13 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Meadowlands Exposition Center located at 355 Plaza Drive on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 69-year-old male, Fernando Gomez of Fairview, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Gomez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 06/02/2025 at 5:19 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a Burglary to a residence that occurred on Grace Avenue on 02/05/2025, the police arrested a 21-year-old male, Nasir Solomon of Irvington, NJ for Conspiracy to Commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(1)], Conspiracy to Commit Vehicle Theft [2C:5-2A(1)], Burglary [2C:18-2.2], Burglary [2C:18-2.2], Theft of a Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.1A], Burglary [2C:18-2.2], Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-1A(1)], Conspiracy to commit Vehicle Theft [2C:5-2A(1)], Motor Vehicle Theft [2C:20-10.1A] and Motor Vehicle Theft [2C:20-10.2A]. Mr. Solomon was being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility at the time the charges were issued. Mr. Solomon remained at the Essex County Correctional Facility following his processing for the charges.

On 06/06/2025 at 4:02 PM, a juvenile male entered Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road to report that another juvenile male had shot him repeatedly with a BB gun. Following an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department, the police arrested a 12 year old male of Secaucus, NJ for 2 counts of Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(2)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D]. The juvenile male was issued his juvenile complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 06/08/2025 at 7:28 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Buchmuller Park located at 150 Plaza Centre Road on a report of Disorderly Conduct. It was reported to the police that during an argument, one individual struck another individual in the face. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55-year-old male, Anthony Paparella of Secaucus, NJ for Simple Assault [2C:12-1F]. Mr. Paparella was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 06/08/2025 at 9:07 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the ramp from Route 3 East to Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a stopped motor vehicle in which the driver of the vehicle appeared to be asleep. During the investigation, the police arrested a 52-year-old male, Bernard Lacewell of Jersey City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Lacewell was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.


These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
