Local Man Shot During Early Morning Hours in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 2:40 a.m. on June 21, 2025, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of North Main Street and Haledon Avenue on a report of a shooting. Police were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area. While on scene, police were informed that a 28-year-old male victim from Paterson, New Jersey arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
