Hello. This is Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday news update.
Tomorrow, Saturday, June 28 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm in Roosevelt Common it is our Annual 4th of July Celebration hosted by Tenafly Recreation. Come and join us for rides, games, giveaways, food, contests, a DJ and more!
Saturday, July 5 at 7:30 pm our Independence Day fireworks celebration kicks off with the festive summertime reggae beats of Anthem, in concert on the fields behind the High School. Fireworks are expected to launch at approximately 9:00 pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone there! (Rain date is Sunday, July 6.)
Looking for fun and meaningful ways to keep your kids active? The Nature Center's Nature Day Camp is open for summer adventures, with hiking, crafts, and hands-on exploration led by expert educators. Spots are still available! And don’t miss the TNC Butterfly House, open weekends! Feed butterflies, explore pollinator gardens, and enjoy nature up close. Visit TenaflyNatureCenter.org to register. Sign up for the Tenafly Swim Team! The summer swim team is open to 5 to 17 year-olds interested in participating in fun, supportive competition. Practices will take place at the Tenafly Municipal Pool (165 Grove St.) on Mondays through Fridays now through the beginning of August. Meets will be held on a weekly basis.
