1. On June 30th, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division recognized a male, who had an active warrant, issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Officers then arrested 38-year-old Christopher R. Dopico of West New York, NJ, for the active warrant. Mr. Dopico was transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Dopico was lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Center.

2. On July 4th, 2025, the Guttenberg Police Department was contacted by the New Jersey State Police, informing us that they had a female in their custody, with an active warrant issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. A short time later, 43-year-old Ana O. Mota of Bayonne, NJ, was transported to the Guttenberg Police Department, where she was placed under arrest for her active warrant. During her arrest processing, officers discovered that Ms. Mota was in possession of three (3) small baggies containing a white powdery substance, believed to be cocaine. In addition to the active warrant, Ms. Mota was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance [2C:35-10A(1)] and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance [2C:35-10C]. Upon the completion of her arrest processing, Ms. Mota was issued her complaint summons and then released on her own recognizance, pending her next court appearance.

3. On July 5th, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 25-year-old Pierre M. Ephrem of North Bergen, NJ, after discovering that he had an active warrant, issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Mr. Ephrem was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Ephrem was released on his own recognizance, pending his next court appearance with the Guttenberg Municipal Court.

The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
