On 07/01/2025 at 8:31 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Christian Paredes-Gonzalez of Brooklyn, NY for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.2A]. Paredes-Gonzalez was issued his complaint warrant along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/02/2025 at 2:20 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Shamonn Freshley of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC criminal warrant issued by the U.S. Marshalls with no bail. Freshley was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Mr. Freshley was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses. Officers from Homeland Security responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and subsequently took custody of Mr. Freshley.

On 07/03/2025 at 12:04 AM, Secaucus Police observed 2 suspicious individuals in the area of the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. One of the individuals, identified as a 25-year-old female, Dixie Taylor of Flushing, NY was arrested for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the NYPD with no bail along with 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Ramsey, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option. Taylor was further charged with being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10], Being Under the Influence of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10B(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 43-year-old male, Arthur James of Chicago, IL for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A], Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police along with a 48-year-old male, Jason Barry of Ridgewood, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] and a 38-year-old female, Amber Saccoccio of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Ms. Taylor was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Mr. James, Mr. Barry and Ms. Saccoccio were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 07/03/2025 at 4:18 PM, Secaucus Police responded to CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of an individual who had shoplifted at CVS that had run out of the store. The involved male was located in the area of Roosevelt Avenue and 2nd Once located, the police arrested a 39-year-old male, Brenn Mcdaniel of Teaneck, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Mcdaniel was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Teaneck, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. Ms. Mcdaniel was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/04/2025 at 12:02 AM, the police responded to the 700 block of Hudson Avenue on a report of an intoxicated individual. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41-year-old female, Odalisa Perez of Secaucus, NJ for Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer [2C:12-1B(5)(A)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. Perez was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 07/05/2025 at 11:57 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 63-year-old male, Byron Ketcham of the Bronx, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Denville, NJ in the amount of $400.00. Officers from the Woodbridge Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Ketcham for transport to their agency.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
