1. On June 26, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Police Officers Ricky Truppner and Trevor Thomas were conducting an exterior check of Hoboken Housing Authority buildings on the 500 block of Jackson Street when they observed a man walking from behind one of the buildings. The man couldn’t provide identification and gave officers a false name when asked. Sgt. Michael Losurdo arrived on the scene to assist. The man was identified as 25-year-old Ramiro Quirola-Vergara of West New York, and he was placed under arrest for hindering apprehension of oneself. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and additionally charged with defiant trespassing. After processing, he was released from police custody. Later that morning, at approximately 5:55 a.m., Police Officers Marc Lombardi and Domenick Allegretta responded to the 50 block of Bloomfield Street on reports of a man screaming in the area. When they arrived, they identified Quirola-Vergara as the actor. He refused treatment from the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He was charged with disorderly conduct, issued a summons, and released on the scene.

2. On June 26, 2025, at approximately 3:45 a.m., Police Officers Ricky Truppner and Trevor Thomas responded to the Second Street Light Rail station on reports of a woman being chased by a man. Upon arrival, they located a man and woman, both who fit the descriptions given by a caller, and it was determined there was no foul play. Sgt. Michael Losurdo, Sgt. Harold Milne, and Police Officers Chicara and Aidan Gonzalez responded to assist. Neither of the individuals had identification on them, and it was discovered the man, later identified as 27-year-old Tristen Tanghal of Jersey City, provided false information. He was arrested for hindering apprehension and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing. He was ultimately released from custody.

3. On June 25, 2025, at approximately 5 a.m., Clinton Police officers transported 38-year-old Jamaal Gilbert of Newark to Hoboken Police Headquarters on a warrant out of Hoboken for prowling, issued on June 25, 2025. After being processed by Police Officer David Smentkowski, Gilbert was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

4. On June 27, 2025, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Police Officers Trevor Thomas and Zackary Guido were on patrol in the area of Fourth and Jackson Streets, when they saw a man they could identify as 32-year-old Alexander Peguero of Bayonne and knew he had an active warrant related to burglary and theft on June 20. The warrant was confirmed, and Police Officers Ricky Truppner and Jayden Gonzalez stopped Peguero, and he was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest located a glass cylindrical pipe with burnt ends. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on multiple active warrants and ultimately turned over to Union City Police.

5. On June 27, 2025, at approximately 6:50 p.m., Police Officer Vincent Guastini was in the area of Sixth and Washington Streets when he observed an individual acting in a violent and potentially dangerous manner by standing in the middle of the street, screaming at passing vehicles, and gesturing at drivers. The individual, who the officer could identify as 51-year-old Cheuy Quintana of Hoboken, screamed and gestured at people eating at an outdoor restaurant and then entered Davis Stationary Store, 638 Washington St., which is when the officer approached him. Sgt., Frances McCourt and Police Officers Bonnano, Rose Kanan, and Alexander Miller arrived on the scene to assist. Quintana was arrested for disorderly conduct, transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and released with a summons and a court date.

6. On June 27, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Police Officer Rose Kanan and Matthew Bonanno were on patrol near the intersection of Ninth and Monroe Streets when they observed an individual they could identify as 51-year-old Phillip Realpe of Jersey City. It was confirmed Realpe had an active warrant for his arrest out of Hoboken and another out of Lodi. The officers located Realpe on 11th Street and stopped him. A search incident to arrest located a cylindrical glass pipe with burnt edges and a push rod. He was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was processed and ultimately transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility.

7. On June 28, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., Police Officer Valentino Salgado was on patrol on the 200 block of Willow Avenue, when he heard a loud bang, and quickly realized it was a car crash. He approached the vehicles involved and observed one with heavy damage to the right rear fender. A second vehicle, determined to be the striking vehicle, was located at the intersection of First Street and Willow Avenue. Officer Salgado observed the driver, later identified as 33-year-old Bailee Zimmerman of Jersey City, to be speaking very slowly and her actions to be delayed. Sgt. Francis McCourt and Police Officers Alexander Miller, Rose Kanan, John Rodriguez, and Kyle Seper arrived on the scene to assist. An on-scene investigation determined Zimmerman struck a parked vehicle, drove away, and attempted to turn the wrong way down First Street, which is a one-way street. A standardized field sobriety test was performed after which Zimmerman was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated, transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and processed. She was additionally issued summonses for reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. As per John’s Law, Zimmerman was released into the custody of a responsible party.

8. On June 29, 2025, at approximately 3:50 a.m., Sgt. Daniel Grossi, Sgt. Harold Milne and Police Officers Zackary J. Guido, Matthew Bonanno, Joshua Campoverde, Shyenna Vega, and Michael Aviles responded to the 1100 block of Grand Street on reports of a car flipped over. An on-scene investigation revealed the driver of the flipped car, later identified as 29-year-old Karol Bacuilima of Jersey City, was driving at a high rate of speed when she struck a parked vehicle and her car flipped over. Officers observed the driver to have the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her breath. She also appeared to be unsteady on her feet, have glassy eyes, and slurred speech. A field sobriety test was conducted, after which Bacuilima was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and refused to provide breath samples. She was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, failure to exhibit insurance, reckless driving, and refusal to submit to breath samples. As per John’s Law, she was released into the custody of a responsible party.

9. On June 29, 2025, at approximately 3:25 p.m., Sgt. Gomez and Police Officers Alexander Miller, Teddy Santiago, and Marco Grossman responded to the 50 block of Washington Street on reports of an individual acting disorderly. Upon arrival, officers could identify the actor as 48- year-old Stacy Butler of Hoboken, who had received a verbal warning for a similar incident earlier in the day. Butler began yelling curses and slurs at officers and then began to yell vulgarities at people walking by. She was placed under arrest and transported to an area hospital where she was released with a summons for disorderly conduct.

10. On June 29, 2025, at approximately 5 p.m., Police Officers John Rodriguez and Shyenna Vega were on patrol of the 600 block of Sixth Street when they observed one individual hit another in the back of the head. Officers approached them and separated the two people. Sgt. Roary Miller and Police Officers Valentino Salgado and Mario Rodriguez arrived on the scene to assist. An on-scene investigation determined one of the individuals, later identified as 43-year-old Ishmel Harrigan of Jersey City hit the other person, later identified as 33-year-old Quantesa Wade of East Orange, during an illegal narcotics sale. Harrigan was arrested for simple assault and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, where he was additionally charged with distribution within 500 feet of public property, distribution near school property, defiant trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute CDS Marijuana. After processing, he was released on a summons. It was discovered Wade was wanted on a warrant out of Newark. During a search incident to arrest, officers found her to be in possession of four cylindrical containers containing marijuana and three sandwich bags filled with marijuana. She was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Wade was additionally charged with possession with intent to distribute CDS marijuana within 500 feet of public housing, possession with intent to distribute CDS marijuana, possession with intent to distribute CDS Marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school zone, making terroristic threats, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal trespassing. She was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

11. On June 30, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Police Officer Trevor Thomas responded to the 1000 block of Maxwell Lane on reports of a man performing lewd acts. The officer located a man who fit the description of the actor who was not performing any lewd acts. The man identified as Darell Jordan, was found to have two warrants out of Hoboken for failure to pay a prescribed fair. He was charged with bail jumping and released with a new court date.

12. On June 30, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., Police Officer Michael Chen observed an individual with a bicycle that fit the description of one that had been stolen earlier in the day. He stopped the man, later identified as 47-year-old Klayton Squires of Hoboken. Police Officers Mario Rodriguez and Valentino Salgado arrived on the scene to assist. It was determined Squires had an open warrant from Harrison and one from Essex County. He was placed under arrest and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. An investigation revealed he had stolen the bicycle he was in possession of and was additionally charged with theft of moveable property. After processing he was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

13. On July 1, 2025, at approximately 6:05 p.m., Police Officers Alyssa Rivera and Roberto Cuevas responded to the Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St., on reports of a man who pulled out a knife. When they arrived a shelter employee told them the man had left and was headed up Third Street towards Washington Street. When they got to Washington Street, another individual pointed out a man, later identified as 54-year-old Pasquale Gianella of Hoboken, who fit the description of the actor given by the original caller. Police Officers Mario Rodriguez, Valentino Salgado, Enrico Gnassi, and Vincent Guastini arrived on the scene to assist. An investigation revealed Gianella began to cause a disturbance inside the shelter and was asked to leave. As he was doing so, he approached a person outside, showed a knife, and threatened to hurt anyone who took his belongings. Gianella was placed under arrest and a search incident to arrest discovered a knife on the side of his belt. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with making terroristic threats, possession of weapons for unlawful purposes, and unlawful possession of weapons. He was processed and released with a summons.

14. On July 1, 2025, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Police Officer Vincent Guastini responded to CVS, 59 Washington St., on reports of a shoplifting. An on-scene investigation revealed an individual walked into the store, picked up a few items, and then left without paying. Detectives Connor Milne and Anthony Azzoline observed a man who matched the description of the actor near the corner of Third and Bloomfield Streets. The man, later identified as 25-year-old Jarvis Sims of Hoboken, tried to flee. Police Officers Leroy Sherill and Valentino Salgado arrived on the scene to assist. Sims was stopped, arrested, and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where he was processed on shoplifting and resisting arrest charges. It was discovered he had a warrant out of Newark. Sims was ultimately remanded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

15. On July 1, 2025, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Police Officers Valentino Salgado and Mario Rodriguez were on patrol in the area of Seventh and Harrison Streets, when they observed a man walking near the Ninth Street Light Rail Station behaving suspiciously. They followed him to the 500 block of Jackson Street. When the individual made eye contact with one of the officers, he became nervous and began to walk faster. Due to his actions, officers believed he was in the area to obtain suspected CDS or drug paraphernalia, and they stopped him. Police Officer Keven De La Cruz arrived on the scene to assist. The man was later identified as 22-year-old Marcos Castro of West New York. He was told not to reach into his bag multiple times but continued to try to do so. Inside the bag, officers observed copper mesh, which is commonly used to filter and inhale CDS crack cocaine. Castro was arrested for loitering to obtain CDS and drug paraphernalia. A search incident to arrest also found a broken glass cylindrical pipe burnt on both ends with copper mesh inside. Castro was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on charges of loitering to obtain or distribute CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

16. On July 2, 2025, at approximately 9:05 a.m., Police Officer Harry Montalvo was on patrol and observed a man he could identify as 33-year-old Sangmin Kim of Fort Lee walk into the Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St., and new he had an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken. Sgt. Tyler Soto and Police Officers Daniel Barron and Jessica Pizanie responded to the scene to assist. The warrant for burglary and possession of burglar tools for an incident reported on June 24, 2025, was confirmed. Kim was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest located gift cards with bent edges, often used to open locked doors, as well as scissors and five sets of keys. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing. He was later transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

17. On July 2, 2025, at approximately 5:35 p.m., Sgt. Michael Losurdo was flagged down by a resident who reported two individuals banging on doors selling magazines on the 300 block of Hudson Street. Police Officers Michael Chen, Ramon Calderon, and Nicklas Valerius responded. They located two people who fit the descriptions given by the caller. It was discovered that one of them, later identified as 42-year-old Preston Craig of North Carolina, had a warrant out of Maryland. He was arrested and charged with being a fugitive of justice. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed, and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

18, On July 2, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., Police Officers Christopher Soto and Keven De La Cruz responded to the Morris County Correctional Facility to take custody of Ryan Phillips, who had an active warrant out of Hoboken for theft and forgery in connection to a October 2024 incident in which he signed a check belonging to someone else. Phillips was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed, and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
