On Aug. 4 at 6:56 p.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious man running in the area of 9th Street. He was subsequently located in the area of 109 Centre Avenue. Police arrested a 21-year-old man, William Ferrell of Brooklyn, NY for Theft of a scooter [2C:20-3A], Obstruction by Flight [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A] and Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)]. Ferrell was issued his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 4 at 6:03 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old female, Dymond Lalande of Jersey City, NJ along with a 28-year-old male, Steffon Fowler of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.2]. Fowler was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. Both were issued their complaint warrants. Lalande was also issued two motor vehicle summonses. Both were taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 5 at 1:11 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 41-year-old man of Bogota, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Bogota, NJ with no bail. Officers from the Bogota Police Department responded and took custody of the man.

On Aug. 5 at 5:27 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 41-year-old woman of Belleville, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Union County, PA with no bail. She was also charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. She was issued a complaint warrant along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 6 at 1:07 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $650. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 7 at 11:17 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Morris County Jail to take into custody a 25 year-old woman from Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,500. She was unable to post bail for the warrant and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 7 at 1:08 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Saddle Brook Police Department and took custody of a 28-year-old man from Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $20,000 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 7 at 6:09 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Harmon Suites hotel located at 455 Plaza Drive on a report of a theft of a bicycle. Police arrested a 29-year-old man, Jayshun Jordan of Secaucus, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 7 at 7:31 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to County Avenue on a report of a vehicle driving erratically on the roadway. The involved vehicle was found stopped at the intersection of County Avenue and Secaucus Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 60-year-old female of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. She was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Aug. 8 at 7:16 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old man, Evan Colon, of Hoboken, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. Colon was charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of CDS believed to be MDMA [2C:35-10A(1)]. He was issued his complaint warrant along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 8 at 6:56 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 25-year-old female of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. She was issued her complaint summons and was released.

On Aug. 10 at 4:52 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle stopped in the roadway in the area of Pandolfi Avenue and Golden Avenue. The individual in the driver’s seat was asleep. Police arrested a 29-year-old man from North Bergen, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Aug. 10 at 6:42 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart. Police arrested a 22-year- old man of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 10 at 9:56 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 24-year-old male of West New York, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. He was issued a complaint warrant and transported to the Hudson County Jail.
