1. On July 17, 2025, at approximately 4:10 p.m., Detective Connor Milne and Police Officer
Nicholas Protopapadakis, were on patrol on the 300 block of Garden Street when they observed
an individual they could identify as 45-year-old Danielle Torres of Hoboken, who they believed
had a warrant for her arrest. The warrant, related to a theft on July 11, 2205, was confirmed, and
Torres was arrested. She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where she refused to
be fingerprinted. She was additionally charged with refusal to be fingerprinted. Torres was
ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
2. On July 17, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., Harrison Police Officers transported 40-year-old
Anthony Iorio of Jersey City to Hoboken Police Department to be processed on a warrant for
shoplifting. Iorio also had a bail jumping complaint out of Harrison. After being processed, Iorio
was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
3. On July 18, 2025, at approximately 8:25 a.m., Police Officers Christopher Barral and Nasir
Willey were dispatched to the 300 block of Willow Avenue on reports of an individual who
appeared ill, sitting on the stairs of a residential building, in which he didn’t live in. When they
arrived, officers observed a man they could identify as 64-year-old Antonio Figueroa of
Hoboken sitting inside a car parked near the building. It was determined Figueroa did not own
the vehicle, nor did he have permission to sit inside of it. He was escorted to an area hospital,
where he was issued a summons for trespassing and released from custody.
4. On July 18, 2025 at approximately 5 p.m., Police Officers Vincent Guastini and Matthew
Bonanno responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting. An on-scene
investigation revealed the actor, later identified as 52-year-old Solomon Crawford of Jersey City
was seen paying for only some of the items in his possession, and trying to leave with
approximately $186 in merchandise he did not pay for. He was arrested for shoplifting and
transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Crawford was ultimately transported to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
5. On July 19, 2025, at approximately 9:50 a.m., Sgt. Harold Milne, Sgt. John Quinones, and
Police Officers Thomas Graziano, Ryan Capogna, Michael Miranda, William Vera, and Adrian
Comaygua observed an individual, later identified as 48-year-old Christian Cardona of Hoboken,
on the 100 block of Washington Street and believed him to have an open warrant. Cardona’s
identity, and the warrant, were confirmed and he was placed under arrest. A search incident to
arrest found him to be in possession of multiple wax folds containing a powdery white substance
suspected to be CDS heroin, multiple opened wax folds, multiple wooden rods, copper wire
mesh, and a cylindrical glass pipe brunt at one end. He was transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters on charges of possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was
found to have two warrants out of Hoboken for loitering and possession of drug paraphernalia,
and one out of Jersey City. Cardona was ultimately, released with a court date.
6. On July 20, 2025, at approximately 1 a.m., Police Officers Brandon Cappelluti and Carmen
Benitez responded to the area of 13th Street and Willow Avenue on reports of individuals
walking around with a bat. Police Officers Dominick Allegretta and Cynthia Rivera also
responded. They located an individual, later identified as 24-year-old Tristan Perez of Union
City, who fit the description given by callers. Perez appeared to be intoxicated and had injuries
on his face. Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps arrived to assess his condition and when
officers helped him into the ambulance, Perez punched one of them in the face. He then started
to resist arrest by flailing his arms and kicking his legs at officers, making contact with two of
them. He was taken to an area hospital, where he verbally threated to kill one of the officers.
Perez was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement
officer, resisting arrest, making terroristic threats. After being transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters for processing, he was ultimately released on a summons.
7. On July 20, 2025 at approximately 2:50 a.m., Police Officers Matthew Bonanno, Jayden
Gonzalez, and Donovan Ortiz responded to the 1200 block of Willow Avenue on reports of an
individual threatening someone else with a firearm. An on-scene investigation led to the arrest
of 30-year-old Giovanni Garcia of Hoboken. He was charged with aggravated assault,
possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, and resisting arrest. He was
processed, and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. 36-year-old
Jocelyn DeJesus of Hoboken was also charged with criminal mischief and released with a
summons.
8. On July 21, 2025, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Sgt. Michael Grossi observed an individual,
later identified as 29-year-old Neal Selechnik of Morristown, throwing rocks at a building on the
50 block of Park Avenue. Police Officers Dennis Smentowski and Marvin DeJesus arrived on
the scene to assist. Selechnik was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and released from
custody.
9. On July 21, 2025, at approximately 8:10 a.m., Police Officers Christopher Barral and
Jonathan Figueroa responded to the 300 block of Washington Street on reports of an individual
inside the vestibule of a building with his pants down. Officers arrived and located a man who fit
the description, later identified 37-year-old Junior Exantus of Jersey City. He was sitting on the
floor, but wearing pants. Exantus was issued a summons for trespassing and released on the
scene.
10. On July 21, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Sgt. Harold Milne and Police Officers
William Vera and Ryan Capogna responded to the 300 block of Jackson Street on reports of two
trespassers in a Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA) building. Police Officers Valentino Salgado,
Rose Kanan, and Jairo De La Cruz also responded. They located two people in stairwells, later
identified as 51-year-old Shawn Carter of Jersey City and 46-year-old Michele Gaulette of
Tinton Falls. Neither individual could provide a valid reason for being in the building. Gaulette
was issued a summons for defiant trespassing, escorted out of the building, and released on the
scene. It was discovered Carter had three warrants out of Hoboken for fare evasion and criminal
trespassing, and one from Jersey City. He was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters. He was charged with defiant trespassing, processed, and taken to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
11. On July 21 2025, at approximately 9 p.m., Police Officers Rose Kanan and Shyenna Vega
responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting where the actor was in
custody of store security. An on-scene investigation determined the actor, later identified as 61-
year-old Ching Wong of Jersey City, concealed multiple items in his bag and exited the store
without paying for all the items in his bags. Store security stopped him before he left the scene.
Wong was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. He was transported to Hoboken
Police Headquarters, processed, and released on a summons.
12. On July 22, 2025, at approximately 2:50 p.m., Sgt. James Barbro and Police Officers Nasir
Willey and Ramon Estrella responded to Hertz Rent-A-Car, 1450 Bloomfield St., on reports of a
man refusing to pay. Upon arrival they located an individual, later identified as 41-year-old
Moises Zorrilla of Paterson, who was extremely uncooperative and yelled at the officers. He was
told he had to leave the property, but he refused. Zorrilla was arrested for criminal trespassing
and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was later released on a summons.
13. On July 22, 2025, at approximately 3:35 p.m., Police Officers Jonathan Figueroa and Bianca
Arroyo responded to TD Bank, 47 Newark St., on reports of an individual impersonating another
person. When they arrived, they observed a woman who matched the description of the actor
walking out of the bank. They stopped the woman, who gave them a false name. Police Officer
Andrias Bonilla arrived on the scene to assist. An on-scene investigation revealed the woman
tried to take money out of an account she did not have a debit card for and provided a fake
drivers license when asked for identification from the bank teller. Sgt. James Barbro arrived on
the scene to assist. The woman, later identified as 35-year-old Britney Husted of Newburgh, NY,
was arrested. A search incident to arrest located multiple plastic straws with possible CDS
residue and burnt ends, along with burnt tin foil. Husted was charged with forgery, false
government documents, criminal attempt theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, identity theft,
and hindering. She was processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters and released on a summons.
14. On July 22, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Det. Paul Quinn and Police Officer Joshua
Campoverde responded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility to processes 32-year-old
Alexander Peguero of Bayonne on a warrant out of Hoboken for burglary and theft. The charges
stemmed from an incident on June 17, 2025 during which an individual broke into a parked car
on the 400 block of Newark Street, stole credit cards, and used them. A follow up investigation
led by Officer Campoverde, revealed Peguero to be the actor.
15. On July 22, 2025, at approximately 6:10 p.m., Police Officers Kyle Seper and Andrias
Bonilla responded to Del Frisco’s Grille, 221 River St., on reports of an assault. As they arrived,
they were waved down by the victim. An on-scene investigation determined the actor, later
identified as 40-year-old Melissa Camacho of Hoboken, punched the other woman while she
walked along Sinatra Drive. Officers stopped Camacho nearby and she was arrested. She was
transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, charged with aggravated assault, processed, and
released on a summons.
16. On July 23, 2025, at approximately 11:25 a.m., Sgt. James Barbro and Police Officers
Bianca Arroyo and Marco Grossman responded to the 16th Street Soccer field on reports of a
man conducting a lewd act in public, nearby. Officers observed a man who fit the description,
later identified as 62-year-old Robert Butler of Jersey City, sleeping near the field. It was
determined Butler was not conducting the lewd act, but it was discovered he had two active
warrants out of Hoboken, both for trespassing. He was transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters and processed on the warrants and later transported to the Hudson County
Correctional Facility.
17. On July 23, 2025, at approximately 4 p.m., Police Officers Mario Rodriguez and Shyenna
Vega responded to Citi Bank, 5 Marine View Plaza on reports of bank employees being
threatened. An on-scene investigation revealed that 58-year-old Anthony Rodriguez of Bayonne
got into a verbal argument with an employee of the bank. Sgt. Francis McCourt arrived on the
scene to assist. It was discovered that Rodriguez had multiple failure to appear warrants and he
was placed under arrest. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where warrants out
of Stanhope, Weehawken, North Arlington, and West New York were confirmed. Rodriguez was
taken to the West New York Police Department on the warrant there.
