
1. On July 31, 2025, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Police Officers Trevor Thomas and Zackary
Guido responded to 30 Burgers, 70 Hudson St., on reports of an individual acting disorderly by
throwing candy at the window of the establishment. The officers located a person who fit the
description of the actor nearby and approached him. The man, later identified as 46-year-old
Damian Clifford of Brooklyn, was told he was banned from 30 Burgers. It was discovered
Clifford had two active warrants. A search incident to arrest located nine capsules containing a
white rock-like substance suspected to be CDS crack cocaine, two white powdery rock
substances suspected to be CDS crack cocaine, a coil of copper, and a glass cylindrical pipe with
burnt ends. Clifford was placed under arrest and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters
where he was processed on the two warrants; one out of Hoboken and the other from Summit.
He was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of CDS. After
being processed, Clifford was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
2. On July 31, 2025, at approximately 12:20 p.m., Police Officer Bianca Arroyo and Jonathon
Figueroa responded to Ben & Jerry’s, 405 Washington St., on reports of an employee stealing
money from the business. An on-scene investigation determined 32-year-old Rochine Jefferson
of the Bronx, had stolen money from the business. It was also discovered he had an active
warrant out of Newark and another out of Jersey City. Jefferson was arrested for theft. He was
transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. After processing, he was taken to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
3. On July 31, 2025, at approximately 6:25 p.m., Police Officers Shyenna Vega and Jairo De La
Cruz responded to CVS, 59 Washington St., on reports of an employee being hit by a woman,
who the caller could identify as 48-year-old Stacey Bulter of Hoboken. An on-scene
investigation revealed Butler attempted to shoplift a bag of chips, and when an employee
confronted her, she struck him in the chest with her fist. Butler was located outside the CVS and
arrested for aggravated assault on an employee of a retail store. She was transported to Hoboken
Police Headquarters, processed, and ultimately taken to the Hudson County Correctional
Facility.
4. On August 1, 2025, at approximately 9:40 a.m., Police Officer Bianca Arroyo processed the
arrest of 77-year-old Linda Derue-Niedenfuhr of Hoboken on charges of theft in connection to a
package theft reported on June 13, 2025. A follow-up investigation by Police Officer Jason
Montalvo identified Derue-Niedenfuhr as the actor and mailed her a summons. After being
processed on Aug. 1, she was released with a summons and a court date.
5. On August 1, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Police Officers Christopher Soto and
Stephen Chowanec responded to Hoboken Police Headquarters, to process the arrest of 50-year-old Omar Rivera of Union City, who was brought in by Union City Police Officers. Rivera had a
warrant out of Hoboken for shoplifting. After processing, he was transported to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
6. On August 2, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Sgt. Michael Losurdo and Police Officers
Carmen Benitez, Anish Bhisey, Frank Losurdo, and Ronald Kibitlewski responded to the area of
Fourth and Madsion Streets on reports of a fight. An on-scene investigation revealed a man, later
identified as 35-year-old Erick Figueroa of Hoboken, was seen hiding in bushes waiting for two
women walking down the street and following them. When a bystander stepped in, Figueroa hit
him in the eye. During the investigation, Figueroa began acting erratically, wouldn’t answer
police questions about the incident, and screamed at the officers. He was placed under arrest for
acting disorderly. A search incident to arrest located a glass cylinder pipe burnt from each end, a
black push rod, and copper wire mesh in his possession. Figueroa was transported to Hoboken
Police Headquarters, and another search located two small bags containing a white rock-like
substance believed to be CDS crack cocaine and another small bag containing a crystal-like
substance believed to be CDS crystal methamphetamine. While being processed, Figueroa struck
one of the officers and refused to be fingerprinted. Figueroa was taken to an area hospital where
he punched one officer in the face and kicked another in the thigh. Figueroa was charged with
stalking, aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of drug
paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, refusal of fingerprinting, possession of CDS crack cocaine,
and possession of CDS crystal methamphetamine. It was discovered Figueroa had three warrants
including one out of Hoboken for robbery, one out of Secaucus, and one out of Hudson County.
Figueroa was ultimately transported to Hudson County Correctional facility.
7. On August 2, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a report was filed at Hoboken Police
Headquarter regarding an incident earlier in the day at Hudson County Superior Court in Jersey
City, during which 25-year-old Raffaelle Spadavecchia of Hoboken violated a restraining order.
He was charged with contempt of court, and a short time later, Police Officer Stephen Chowanec
observed Spadavecchia near the intersection of Fifth and Jackson Streets. Police Officers Leroy
Sherrill and Christopher Soto arrived on scene to assist. Spadavecchia was arrested and
transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was found to be in possession of a box cutter
style knife. Due to a conviction on aggravated assault in 2018, Spadavecchia is a certain person
not to possess a weapon, and he was additionally charged with certain persons not to possess a
weapon. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
8. On August 3, 2025, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Police Officers Brandon Cappelluti and
Carmen Benitez conducted a motor vehicle near the intersection of Eighth and Monroe Streets
after observing the car traveling without headlights, not coming to a complete stop at stop signs,
and going the wrong way down a one-way street. Sgt. Michael Straten and Police Officers
Ronald Kibitlewski, Stephen Chowenec, and Donovan Ortiz arrived on the scene to assist.
Officers approached the driver, later identified as 23-year-old Dennis Aguilar of Clifton, and
smelled the odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. A field sobriety test was
performed, after which Aguilar was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters.
He was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, failure to exhibit documents,
and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. As per John’s Law Aguilar was released into the
custody of a responsible party.
9. On August 3, 2025, at approximately 9:35 a.m., Police Officers Thomas Graziano and Adrian
Comayagua took custody of 29-year-old Yeury Marte-Jimenez of Union City. Union City Police
Officers brought him to Hoboken Police Headquarters on an active failure to appear warrant for
theft out of Hoboken. After processing, he was transported to the Hudson County Correctional
Facility.
10. On August 3, 2025, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Sgt. Harold Milne and Police Officers
Ryan Capogna and William Vera responded to Lululemon, 314 Washington St., on reports of a
shoplifting. Police Officers Shawn Sodora and Aidan Gonzalez also responded. As two men left
the store with bags of merchandise, an anti-theft alarm was set off. Officers approached the two
men, later identified as 21-year-old Jordan Webb of Brooklyn and 20-year-old Lennox Holder of
Brooklyn. Both Webb and Holder were arrested. Holder was in possession of a car key to a
vehicle that was parked outside, with a man, later identified as 11. 20-year-old Quashawn Wilson
of Jackson Heights, sleeping inside. It was determined the vehicle was stolen out of New York
City. Wilson was placed under arrest. A search of the car located more Lululemon merchandise
with tags still on. All three individuals were transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Webb
was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, receiving stolen property,
possession of an anti-shoplifting device. Holder was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to
commit shoplifting, receiving stolen property, and possession of an anti-shoplifting device.
Wilson was charged with conspiracy to commit shoplifting and receiving stolen property. Wilson
was also issued motor vehicle summonses for having fictitious plates and parking in a bus stop.
After processing, the three individuals were released with summonses.
11. On August 4, 2025, at approximately 5 a.m., Police Officers Donovan Ortiz and Jaydan
Gonzalez were on patrol, when they observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at the
intersection of Jackson and Fourth Streets. They conducted a motor vehicle stop, and it was
discovered the driver, later identified as 31-year-old Bruce Stewart of West New York, was
driving with a suspended license. It was also found that he had an outstanding warrant out of
North Bergen. He was given a new court date on the warrant and issued a summons for failing to
yield at a posted stop sign and for operating a vehicle with a suspended driver's license. Stewart
was released on the scene.
12. On August 4, 2025, at approximately 10 a.m., Police Officer Christopher Barral was on
patrol at Church Square Park, when he was flagged down and informed about a person sleeping
nearby. He identified the individual as 56-year-old Ivenka Leonard of North Arlington and knew
she had an active warrant out of Hoboken for shoplifting. Leonard was transported to Hoboken
Police Headquarters, processed, and transported to the Hudson Country Correctional Facility.
13. On August 4, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Sgt. Harold Milne, Sgt. John Quinones, and
Police Officers Michael Miranda, William Vera, Adrian Comayagua, Ryan Capogna, and
Thomas Graziano were on patrol when they observed a man they knew to be Edwardo Ramos
sitting on a bench on the 1000 bench of Washington Street, and knew he had an active arrest
warrant for making terroristic threats, stalking, and harassment out of Jersey City. The warrant
was confirmed, and Ramos was arrested. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters,
processed, and ultimately taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
14. On August 5, 2025, at approximately 6 a.m., police Officer Donovan Ortiz was conducting a
detail check of Pier A Park when he saw a man, later identified as 44-year-old Damont Dyer of
North Bergen, acting erratically by talking to himself and making unusual gestures. He was also
making unclear statements to pedestrians. As the officer got closer, he could see Dyer holding
what appeared to be a glass cylindrical pipe, with a single burnt end. Dyer became aggressive
and began making threats at the officer. Sgt. Michael Straten and Police Officer Brandon
Cappelluti arrived on the scene to assist. Dyer was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia
and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where it was confirmed he had a warrant out of
Hudson County. He was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
15. On August 5, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., members of the Field Training Officers
program were on patrol when they observed a woman slumped over on the steps of a building on
the 100 block of Fourth Street. In her lap, the woman, later identified as 45-year-old Kesha Coe
of Jersey City, had a wax fold containing a powdery substance suspected to be CDS. She was
placed under arrest, and a search incident to arrest located a glass cylindrical pipe. Coe was
transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing where it was learned she had an
outstanding failure to appear warrant out of Bayonne. She was additionally charged with
possession of suspected CDS heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was ultimately
transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
