1. On August 7, 2025, at approximately 5:50 p.m., Police Officer Frank Losurdo responded to CVS, 59 Washington St., on reports of an individual harassing customers trying to get inside the store, even after employees asked her to leave several times. Police Officer Alexander Miller also responded. The individual was identified as 48-year-old Stacy Butler of Hoboken, and she continued her disorderly behavior by screaming and yelling at people walking by. Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded, but Butler refused medical attention. She was told if she continued her disorderly behavior she would be arrested. Butler crossed the street and continued her behavior by screaming and yelling at people eating at an outdoor dining area. She was arrested for disorderly conduct. A search incident to arrest located a glass cylindrical pipe with burnt ends which contained CDS crack cocaine. Butler was additionally charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was found to have an outstanding active warrant from Hudson County. She was ultimately transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where she refused to be fingerprinted and was charged with refusal to submit to fingerprints. Butler was ultimately taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

2. On August 8, 2025, at approximately 5 a.m., Police Officers Aidan Gonzalez, Trevor Thomas, Ahmed Makshat, and Rose Kanan responded to the 200 block of Washington Street on reports of a bicycle theft. Officers located a man who matched the description of the actor near the intersection of First and Washington Streets and stopped him. Police Officers Frank Losurdo and Michael Aviles arrived on the scene to assist. The individual, later identified as 53-year-old Giovanni Nieves of Hoboken, gave officers a fake name at first. Sgt. Daniel Grossi arrived on the scene to assist. The victim confirmed Nieves was the actor who stole his bicycle. Nieves was arrested and a search incident to arrest revealed a wax fold of suspected CDS heroin and a cylindrical glass pipe. Nieves was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where it was discovered he had active warrants out of Haledon, Lincoln Park, and Essex County. He was charged with theft, criminal mischief, possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and hindering apprehension. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility

3. On August 8, 2025, at approximately 12:55 p.m., Sgt. Steven Kranz was on routine patrol when he observed a man he could identify as 47-year-old Alan Lobel of Hoboken, and knew he had a warrant. Lobel was stopped on the 500 block of Madison Street. Police Officers Alexander Miller and Teddy Santiago arrived on the scene to assist. A warrant for theft out of Hoboken was confirmed in connection to an August 6 theft at La Boheme, 233 Clinton St., where an individual removed cash from a register and left. An on-scene investigation by Police Officer Rose Kanan identified Lobel as the actor. A second warrant out of New York State was also confirmed. A search incident to arrest of Lobel located a glass cylindrical tube with a burnt end, a metal push rod, and a small bundle of steel wool. Lobel was transported to Hoboken Police Department Headquarters and processed on the warrants. He was additionally charged with being a fugitive from justice and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lobel was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

4. On August 8, 2025, at approximately 4 p.m., Police Officers Alexander Miller and Jason Montalvo responded to the 100 block of Third Street on reports of someone entering a vacant apartment. When they arrived, the unit was locked with a chain from the inside. The officers gained entry and located an individual, later identified as 30-year-old Amey Barge of Hoboken. Barge was arrested, transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and processed on criminal trespassing charges, before being released with a summons.

5. On August 10, 2025, at approximately 4:05 a.m., Sgt. Daniel Grossi was on patrol when he observed a car parked too far from the curb, with the engine running on the 500 block of Bloomfield Street. He located one person, later identified as 21-year-old Sean Mannillo of Hoboken, in the back seat vomiting on the ground. Mannillo was confused, rambling, and slurring his speech. He also had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. Police Officers Ronald Kibitlewski, Ahmed Makshat, Camen Benitez, Vincent Guastini, and Frank Losurdo arrived on the scene. An on-scene investigation determined Mannillo had driven to the location that he was parked at. A standardized field sobriety test was conducted, after which Mannillo was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and improper parking. As per John’s Law, Mannillo was released into the custody of a responsible party.

6. On August 10, 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Police Officers Carmen Benitez and Vincent Guastini were on patrol, when they were waved down by an individual at the Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St., who claimed he had just been in an altercation with another individual, later identified as 59-year-old Hungria Acevedo of Union City, who threatened to hit him with a long stick. Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officer Ahmed Mashkat located a man who fit the description of Acevedo, on the 400 block of Washington Street. Police Officers Daivid Chicara and Anish Bhisey arrived to assist. Acevedo was arrested for making terroristic threats, unlawful possession of weapons, and possession of weapons for unlawful purposes. He was released on a summons with a court date.

7. On August 10, 2025, at approximately 7 p.m., Police Officers Mark Mooreman and Vincent Guastini responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifter in custody of store security. An on-scene investigation revealed the actor, identified as 34-year-old Michelle Rodriguez of Hoboken, had concealed multiple items worth approximately $113 in her bag and attempted to leave the store without paying. A search incident to arrest located a cylindrical glass tube and copper mesh. She was charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. She was found to have an open warrant out of Jersey City. She was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

8. On August 11, 2025, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Sgt. Daniel Grossi was stopped at a red traffic light on Washington Street at First Street. When the light turned red, Sgt. Grossi observed the car in front of him accelerate and crash into another vehicle causing minor damage, but no injuries. Police Officers Frank Losurdo and Jayden Gonzalez responded to the scene to assist. Officers observed the driver of the car that caused the crash, later identified as 26-year-old Tashawn Shivers of Orange, was confused and unbalanced, had glassy eyes and slurred speech, and he had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. A standardized field Sobriety test was performed, after which Shivers was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed. He was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to exhibit insurance. As per John’s Law, Shivers was released into the custody of a responsible party.

9. On August 11, 2025, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Police Officers Donovan Ortiz and Ronald Kibitlewski observed 59-year-old William Johnson of Weehawken on the 400 block of Newark Street and knew he had an active warrant for theft out of Hoboken. They approached him and the warrant was confirmed. A search incident to arrest located a cylindrical metal pipe with a piece of copper mesh and a burnt end. Johnson was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on the warrant. He was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

10. On August 11, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., Police Officer Rose Kanan observed a man she could identify as 30-year-old Jacob Smith of Hoboken walking on the 200 block of Jackson Street and believed he had an active warrant for his arrest. Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officers Christopher Soto and Matthew Bonanno arrived on the scene to assist. Two warrant outs of Hoboken were confirmed, including one for an August 5, 2025, shoplifting at Kings, 1212 Shipyard La., and another for a shoplifting on March 1, 20205 at ACME, 614 Clinton St. Smith was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. After being processed on the warrants, Smith was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

11. On August 12, 2025, at approximately 10:05 p.m., Police Officer David Smentkowski was on the 50 block of Washington Street when he observed a green moped with no registration. He located the owner, later identified as 51-year-old Carlos Colon of Bloomfield. Police Officer John Lawton arrived on the scene to assist. It was discovered that Colon had a warrant out of Passaic. He was arrested, transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and issued a summons for having an unclear plate and an unregistered motor vehicle. He was released after bail was paid.

12. On August 13, 2025, at approximately 1:05 p.m., Sgt. John Quinones and Police Officers Arturo Gonzalez, William Vera, Adrian Comayagua, Thomas Graziano, Michael Miranda, and Ryan Capogna responded to the area of Sixth and Clinton Streets on reports of a man exposing himself and conducting lewd acts in front of passersby. The man, identified as 48-year-old Jose Gonzalez-Avila of Union City, was located on the 500 block of Willow Avenue. He was arrested and a search incident to arrest located a glass cylindrical tube with steel wool and burnt ends. He was ultimately transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with lewdness, and possession of drug paraphernalia. After processing, he was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
