1. On August 14, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Police Officer Jaydan Gonzalez responded to Hoboken Police Headquarters to process the arrests of 18-year-old Keilani Leon-Jones of Newark and 18-year-old Ianyonna Rennick of Jersey City on a summons for charges of theft by deception, conspiracy, and receiving stolen property. The charges were in connection to an April 22, 2025, report of theft, where the actors used a victim's phone to send money to themselves. A follow-up investigation by Police Officer Chelsea Tamborra identified Leon-Jones and Rennick as the actors. Both were scheduled to appear in court later in the day and after being processed, both were released from police headquarters.

2. On August 14, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., Police Officers Andrias Bonilla and Valentino Salgado responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting. An on-scene investigation revealed the actor, later identified as 34-year-old Alexander Sabio of Union City, tried to leave the store paying for only some of the items in his cart. He did not pay for approximately $97 worth of merchandise that he had concealed inside an insulated bag in the shopping cart. Store security stopped him when he tried to exit. Sgt. Roary Miller arrived on the scene to assist. Sabio was arrested for shoplifting and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. After he was processed, he was released with a copy of his summons.

3. On August 15, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Police Officers Jonathan Figueroa, Frank Lombardo, and Daniel Baron responded to the Greatness Grows Daycare, 1 Newark St., on reports of a trespasser. Upon arrival, they recognized 36-year-old Joshua Jackson of Jersey City, who they’d already given verbal warnings not to trespass in the area. He was issued a summons for trespassing and told if he trespasses again, he will be arrested.

4. On August 15, 2025, at approximately 3:10 p.m., Hoboken Police arrested two juveniles for shoplifting at Lululemon, 313 Washington St., after they were found with stolen merchandise in a bag, and other items in their dressing rooms with tags ripped off. The total amount taken between the two was approximately $1,239. The juveniles were charged with shoplifting and conspiracy to shoplift. After being transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed, both were released into the custody of guardians.

5. On August 15, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Police Officer Valentino Salgado was on patrol when he observed a man on the 300 block of Jackson that he could identify as 46-year-old Larone Ferguson of Hoboken, and believed he had an active warrant. Police Officers Leroy Sherill and Matthew Bonnano arrived on the scene to assist. The warrants were confirmed, and Ferguson was located on the 400 block of Monroe Street. When he saw the officers, he fled on foot. The officers caught up to him, and Ferguson resisted arrest. Once he was placed in handcuffs, a search incident to arrest located a folding knife in his pocket. Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officers Andrias Bonilla, John Lawton, Mario Rodriguez, and Shyenna Vega arrived on the scene to assist. Ferguson was found to have eight open warrants out of Hoboken for shoplifting and theft. He was also found to be a certain person to not carry a weapon due to a prior conviction for aggravated assault. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest by flight and certain persons not to have a weapon. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

6. On August 15, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Police Officers Brian Kim and Mario Rodriguez responded to the Second Street Light Rail Station after New Jersey Transit Police Officers found a man, later identified as 45-year-old Luis Medina of Jersey City, who they believed to have a warrant out of Hoboken. A search found him to be in possession of two cylindrical glass tubes and two plastic bags with a crystalline rocklike substance suspected to be CDS crack cocaine. The warrant was confirmed, and he was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also processed on a warrant out of Hoboken for burglary and theft. He also had two warrants from NJ Transit and one out of Jersey City. Medina was transported to Jersey City Police for processing there.

7. On August 16, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Police Officer David Smentkowski was flagged down near the intersection of Seventh Street and Willow Avenue by a resident who had tracked a stolen scooter to the area. Police Officer Stephen Chowanec responded to the scene and located a man, later identified as 39-year-old Michael Moya of Jersey City, who was on a scooter. Moya originally gave the officers a fake name. The victim identified the scooter as the one that had been stolen. Moya was placed under arrest for theft. A search incident to arrest located a glass cylindrical pipe burnt at one end. Moya was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with theft, hindering apprehension, and possession of drug paraphernalia. It was discovered he had a warrant out of Hoboken for shoplifting, one warrant out of Secaucus for shoplifting, one warrant out of Jersey City for trespassing, and two warrants out of Hudson County. After being processed, he was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

8. On August 16, 2025, at approximately 4:10 a.m., Police Officer Frank Losurdo was outside of Hoboken Police Headquarters, 106 Hudson St., when he observed a vehicle drive the wrong way down Hudson Street, which is a one-way street. The vehicle then drove the wrong way down Second Street, which is also a one-way street. The vehicle was pulled over at the intersection of Second and River Streets, and the driver appeared to be confused about which way to turn the car. The officer approached the driver, later identified as 21-year-old Georgina Ayala of Dover, and he observed her to have a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her breath, glassy eyes, and slurred speech. Police Officer Zackary Guido arrived on the scene to conduct a standardized field sobriety test, after which she was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was taken to Hoboken Police Headquarters and issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. As per John’s Law, Ayala was released into the custody of a responsible party.

9. On August 16, 2025, at approximately 11 p.m., Police Officers John Rodriguez and Mario Rodriguez responded to CVS, 59 Washington St., on reports an unconscious individual. Officers located a woman across the street, who matched a description given by the original caller. A man, later identified as 48-year-old Troy Francis of Florida, was also on the scene and he began to obstruct the investigation. Francis was asked to move away from the officers. He continued to be disruptive and when he was told he was going to be issued a summons, he got on an electric motorcycle nearby. He was told to get off the bike and he continued to be uncooperative. Francis was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was charged with obstructing the administration of the law and released with a summons.

10. On August 17, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Police Officer Aaron Font responded to CVS, 59 Washington St., on reports of a shoplifting. The actor, later identified as 34-year-old Michelle Rodriquez of Hoboken, was located across the street and she was arrested. Police Officer Brandon Fitzgibbons arrived on the scene to assist. A search incident to arrest located several items that had been reported stolen from CVS. An on-scene investigation confirmed Rodriquez walked into the store, took multiple items from the cosmetics aisle, and left without paying when store security approached her. Rodriquez was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where she was charged with shoplifting and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

11. On August 17, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Police Officers Christopher Soto, Michael Chen, and Joseph Lupo responded to the 1300 block of Washington Street on reports of a dispute. Upon arrival, they located a man, later identified as 38-year-old Jason McHarris of Hoboken, pacing outside in an agitated state. An on-scene investigation revealed McHarris got into an argument with a neighbor, later identified as 49-year-old Gary Key of Jersey City, which resulted in McHarris striking Key multiple times. McHarris was arrested for burglary and simple assault. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed, and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. During the investigation, it was determined Key had a warrant out of Morris County. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and ultimately transported to Morris County on the warrant.

12. On August 18, 2025, at approximately 2:55 p.m., Police Officers Aaron Font and Marc Lombardi responded to the 300 block of Monroe Street on reports of a man holding drug paraphernalia. Upon arrival, the caller pointed out the actor, who the officers could see was holding a glass cylindrical tube with a burnt end. As they approached the man, later identified as 48-year-old Jose Gonzalez-Avila of Hoboken, he threw the tube onto the street. He was placed under arrest. He was taken to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. After being processed, Gonzalez-Avila was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

13. On August 19, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Police Officer Shawn Sodora responded to Lululemon, 313 Washington St., on reports of a shoplifting. An on-scene investigation revealed a woman went into a dressing room with multiple items and an empty bag, but when she came out, she had just one item in her hands, and the bag was full. She left the store and got in a vehicle parked outside. Multiple theft sensors were located inside the dressing room. A short time later, the vehicle she left in was spotted by members of the Hoboken Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit outside of another store on the 200 block of Washington Street. They went into the store and located a woman, later identified as 24-year-old Araya Myhand of the Bronx, who fit the description of the actor. When she saw the officers, she left the store. She was stopped on the 100 block of Washington Street, identified as the actor, and arrested for shoplifting. Araya was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property. After processing, she was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

14. On August 19, 2025, at approximately 7 p.m., Police Officer Adrian Comayagua responded to CVS, 59 Washington St., on reports of a shoplifting in progress. Sgt. Harold Milne and Police Officers Rose Kanan, Marc Lombardi, Matthew Bannano, Ryan Capogna, and Thomas Graziano also responded. They located a man who fit the description of the actor and later identified him as 25-year-old Ahmed Romer of Irvington. An on-scene investigation revealed Romer walked into the store, took a bottle of sanitizer, and left without paying. When he came back later in the day, employees called the police. Romer was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was charged with shoplifting, processed, and released with a summons and a court date.

15. On August 20, 2025, at approximately 6:50 a.m., Police Officers Jayden Gonzalez and Ricky Truppner responded to the Park & Garden Garage, 1450 Garden St., on reports of someone sleeping inside the garage. They located the individual, later identified as 42-year-old Angelo Santiago of Hoboken, and it was found he had a warrant out of Hoboken for shoplifting. A search incident to arrest located eight unused hypodermic needles and a small clear bag with suspected CDS cocaine. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and additionally charged with possession of CDS. After being processed on the warrant he was transported to the Hudson County Correction Facility.

16. On August 20, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Police Officers Jessica Pizanie and Remy Garcia-Marte were on patrol when they saw a man near the intersection of Second and Harrison Streets, who they could identify as 44-year-old Raul Reveron of Linden, and knew he had a warrant. A warrant from the Hudson County Sheriff's Office was confirmed. When officers approached Reveron, he took wax folds containing suspected CDS out of his pocket and threw them on the ground. Another individual, later identified as 30-year-old Anthony Bevilacqua-Smith of Hoboken began to walk towards the wax folds, and was told if he picked them up, he’d be placed under arrest. Bevilacqua-Smith picked up one of the folds and walked away. Sgt. William Collins and Police Officers Leo Colon, Nicholas Protopapadakis, and Ramon Estrella arrived on the scene to assist. Reveron was arrested and during transport to an area hospital, he made multiple threats to officers and their families. He was charged with making terroristic threats, obstruction, distribution of CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone, distribution of CDS within 500 feet of public housing, and distribution. Sgt. Wilfredo Gomez, Detective J Castellano, and Police Officers Christopher Hatfield, Jessica Arebalo, Alexander Miller, Anthony Azzoline, and Anthony Ingraffia began to look for Anthony Bevilacqua-Smith. He was located, arrested, transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and charged with tampering, resisting, distribution of CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone, distribution of CDS within 500 feet of public housing, and distribution. Reveron and Bevilacqua-Smith were both ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

17. On August 20, 2025, at approximately 11:20 a.m., Det. Sgt. William Collins, Detective Jesse Castellano, Detective Luis Rodriguez, and Police Officers Nicholas Protopapadakis, Jessica Arebalo, and Anthony Ingraffia, went to the 300 block of Marshall Drive to arrest Pereira on a warrant for theft. On Aug. 17, a resident reported someone had approached him a day earlier on the 800 block of Jackson Street, started a conversation, and stole his cell phone out of a backpack. A follow-up investigation, led by Det. Castellano, identified Periera as the actor. After being arrested, Pereira was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where it was discovered he also had a warrant out of North Bergen. After processing he was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

18. On August 20, 2025, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Sgt. Harold Milne and Police Officers Thomas Graziano, Ryan Capogna, William Vera, and Michael Miranda responded to CVS, 59 Washington St., on reports of a shoplifting. When they arrived, they located the actor, later identified as 44-year-old Travis Davis of Jersey City, just outside of the store. An on-scene investigation revealed Davis tried to walk out of the store with approximately $12 in merchandise he did not pay for but was stopped at the exit by store employees. Davis was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing. A search incident to arrest located a clear plastic bag containing a white powdery substance suspected to be CDS cocaine and a wax fold with what was believed to be CDS heroin. He was additionally charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
