Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that on September 1, 2025, at approximately 8:28 p.m.,
members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Pennington Street and Park
Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they
located the victim, a 33-year-old male from Paterson, New Jersey, with a gunshot wound. The
victim was subsequently pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
