1. On September 16th, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg
Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 47-year-old Carlos J. Fernandez-Marmolejos of Fairview, NJ, after discovering that he had two active warrants, issued
by the Pahatcong and Manasquan Municipal Courts. Mr. Fernandez-Marmolejos was
then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon
the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Fernandez-Marmolejos was released on
his own recognizance, pending his next court appearances.
2. On September 16th, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg
Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 54-year-old Gersain J. Agudelo of West
New York, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Agudelo was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the
completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Agudelo was issued summonses for traffic
violations and then released to a responsible adult.
3. On September 19th, 2025, the Guttenberg Police Department was contacted by the
Port Authority Police Department, informing us that they had a male in their custody
with an active warrant, issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Later, officers of
the Port Authority Police Department transported the male to our police
headquarters, where 74-year-old Jesus Arango of West New York, NJ, was placed
under arrest and processed. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Arango
was lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Center.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed
innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
