The Secaucus Animal Shelter is committed to the compassionate care and
rehabilitation of abandoned and injured animals. We are seeking dedicated
and compassionate individual to join our team in providing these animals with
the support and care they need on their journey to recovery and adoption.
Shift:
• Thursday & Friday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
$15.49/ Hourly
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Includes the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, grooming, and
exercising.
- Cleans and sterilizes animal food bowls and water pans.
- Disinfect and deodorize kennels, cages, and common areas to prevent
the spread of disease.
- Cleans and disinfects animal living quarters and may clean other areas
including the office and outside areas.
- Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes, including
appetite, weight, and general condition.
