09/15/2025-Officers responded to the area of Curtis Street on report of a Theft from Auto. A resident parked his vehicle in his driveway overnight and when he returned to it the following morning, he noticed it was rummaged through. A bag containing key fobs from the car dealership he works at was missing from the vehicle. This incident is under investigation.

09/16/2025-Officers responded to the area of Franklin Street on report of a Theft from Auto. A resident parked both of his vehicles in his driveway overnight and when he returned to them the following morning, he noticed they were rummaged through. Both vehicles were left unlocked. A pair of Ray Ban sunglasses was missing from one of the vehicles. This incident is under investigation.

09/16/2025-Officers responded to 135 Bloomfield Avenue (Staples) on report of a Shoplifting. According to the Loss Prevention Officer, a male took four PS Shadowbox frames and left the store without paying. The items were valued at $159.96. This incident is under investigation.

09/17/2025-Jermaine Rabb age 45 of Newark, NJ. Officers responded to 17 Belleville Avenue (Walgreen’s) on report of a Shoplifting. According to the Loss Prevention Officer, a male took several hair care products and left the store without paying. The items were valued at $167.94. Officers were able to locate the suspect nearby still in possession of the items. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Bloomfield Police Headquarters where he was processed accordingly.

09/17/2025-Officers responded to 60 Orange Street (Home Depot) on report of a Theft. According to the Loss Prevention Officer, two males entered the parking lot and placed two lumber carts in the rear of their van. The lumber carts were valued at $539.34. This incident is under investigation.

09/17/2025-Officers responded to 77 Bloomfield Avenue (Walgreen’s) on report of a Shoplifting. According to the Loss Prevention Officer, a male took various cosmetic items and left the store without paying. The items were valued at $57.96. This incident is under investigation.

09/18/2025-A resident responded to Bloomfield Police Headquarters to report a Package Theft from the 100 block of Franklin Street. According to the resident, a package was delivered by UPS on 09/10/2025 at approximately 8:00p.m. When the resident arrived home at approximately 12:00a.m., the package was missing. The package contained a computer valued at $893.51. This incident is under investigation.

09/19/2025-Officers responded to 160 Broad Street (Bloomfield High School) on report of a Bicycle Theft. A student locked his e-bike to the rack behind the school and at dismissal he noticed it was missing. The e-bike was valued at $2,000.00. This incident is under investigation.

09/19/2025-Officers responded to 557 John F. Kennedy Parkway (Foley Field) on report of a Theft. A student noticed that his cell phones were missing from his locker after his football game. The cell phones were valued at $170.00. This incident is under investigation.

09/19/2025-Officers responded to the area of Parkway West on report of a Theft from Auto. A resident noticed that his vehicle was rummaged through sometime overnight. There was $1500.00 missing from the glove compartment of the vehicle. This incident is under investigation.

09/19/2025-Officers responded to the area of Watsessing Avenue on report of a Theft from Auto. A resident noticed that his vehicle was rummaged through sometime overnight. A gift card, lunch box and a blanket were missing from the vehicle. This incident is under investigation.
