Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi
announce that on October 1, 2025 at approximately 3:36 pm, members of the Clifton Police
Department were notified that a 4-month-old female infant had been found unresponsive at a
residence in the area of Ackerman Avenue and Milosh Street in Clifton, New Jersey. The child
was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New
Jersey via ambulance, where she was pronounced deceased at 4:28 p.m.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it
becomes available.
