VICTOR I. ROSADO

On October 07, 2025, Victor I. Rosado was sentenced by the Honorable H. Matthew Curry, J.S.C. to
thirty (30) years in New Jersey State Prison with twenty five and a half (25 ½ ) years of parole
ineligibility. In addition, he will be subject to Parole Supervision for Life and registration pursuant to
Megan’s Law.
On April 17, 2025, a Warren County jury found Victor Rosado guilty of:
- Four counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(1), a
crime of the first degree;
- Two counts of Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2b, a crime of the second
degree;
- Two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-
4a(1), a crime of the second degree.
The sexual acts occurred in 2015 and 2016 when the victim, who was known to the defendant, was
between the ages of 9 and 11 years old.
The State was represented by S.D.A.G. / Acting Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Kevin Brotzman at
trial. Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Brotzman along with Detective Sergeant John Marino are
commended for their outstanding work in investigating and prosecuting this case. The Warren County
Prosecutor’s Office Victim Witness Unit is also recognized for their continued support and victim witness
advocacy. We would also like to thank the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit,
Phillipsburg Police Department, New Jersey State Police Laboratory, and St. Lucie County Sheriff’s
Office in Florida, for their efforts in this case.
