1. On Sept. 4, 2025, at approximately 6:35 a.m. Sgt. Michael Losurdo and Police Officers David Chicara and Domenick Allegretta responded to the 200 block of Park Avenue on reports of a man sleeping in a vestibule. The individual, later identified as 20-year-old Teysean Taylor of Paramus, was found to have a warrant. She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and it was confirmed she had a warrant out of Newark and one out of Union Township. She was additionally charged with defiant trespassing, processed, and released with new court dates on the warrants.

2. On Sept. 4, 2025, at approximately 9:36 a.m., Police Officers Aaron Font and Elias Colon responded to the Passaic County Jail to take custody of a prisoner wanted out of Hoboken. The individual, identified as 41-year-old Derek Dinapoli of Clifton, had an active warrant issued on Feb. 28, 2025, for driving while intoxicated. Dinapoli was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing, before being taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

3. On Sept. 4, 2025, at approximately 3:55 p.m., Police Officers Vincent Guastini and Dylan Archilla responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting, where store security had the actor, later identified as 50-year-old Gaston Frascino of Union City, in custody. An on-scene investigation determined Frascino entered the meat aisle, concealed about $265 worth of merchandise, and tried to leave without paying. As security tried to stop him, Frascino pushed the employee. Frascino was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing on robbery charges, before being taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

4. On Sept. 4, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Police Officers Mark Moorman, William Vera, and Matthew Bonanno were in the area of Third and Jackson Streets when they observed a man they could identify as 46-year-old Larone Ferguson of Hoboken and were aware of a warrant against him. The warrant for theft and conspiracy to commit theft was confirmed. It was in connection to a reported package theft on Sept. 2, on the 200 block of Harrison Street, investigated by Police Officer Enrico Gnassi who identified Ferguson as one of two actors in that case. On Sept. 4, Ferguson was arrested, processed on the warrant, and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

5. On Sept. 4, 2025, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Police Officers Rose Kanan and Michael Chen, responded to Willie McBride’s, 616 Grand St., on reports of a disorderly individual. The man had left prior to the officer's arrival, but officers located a man who fit the description nearby. As they approached, the man, later identified as 31-year-old Samora Buchanan of Irvington, dropped several items onto the ground, including Amazon employee identification and debit cards that didn’t belong to him, multiple cell phones, and several battery packs. Buchanan was uncooperative with officers during an investigation and was observed to be slurring his words. Sgt. Daniel Grossi arrived on the scene to assist. Buchanan refused to remove his hands from his pockets, despite being asked to do so, by police officers, multiple times. Buchanan was placed under arrest, and a search located culinary tools and a fake government identification card. Buchanan was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, during which he threatened to kill police officers. An on-scene investigation revealed he had taken items, worth a total of approximately $620, from the front passenger seat of a delivery truck, which had been parked in the area. It was discovered Buchanan had an active full extradition warrant out of Washington, D.C., issued by the U.S. Marshals Service and that he was wanted in connection to another burglary and theft in Hoboken. He was charged with disorderly conduct, burglary, making terroristic threats, theft, possession of a false government document, and fugitive from justice. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

6. On Sept. 4, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., Police Officers David Smentowski and Joseph Lupo responded to Hudson Smokes, 22 Hudson Pl., on reports of a missing phone. An on-scene investigation revealed a store employee found the phone in the possession of a man, later identified as 56-year-old Walter Arena of Hoboken, who asked to charge it and then left the store. The clerk called the police, after realizing the phone did not belong to Arena. The phone was returned to the rightful owner. About an hour later, Police Officers Lupo and Vincent Guastini went back to the store after employees reported Arena came back to claim the phone and became disorderly when he was told it was given to police. It was discovered he had a warrant out of Hoboken for shoplifting. A search located two glass cylindrical tubes with burnt residue. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

7. On Sept. 5, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Police Officers Jaydan Gonzalez and Donovan Ortiz responded to the 300 block of Bloomfield Street on reports of a man walking into an apartment that he did not live in and then leave after being seen by a resident inside. During a follow up investigation, Sgt. Michael Losurdo was able to identify the actor as 22-year-old Androkle Batistasoriano of Hoboken, and he was charged on a warrant with criminal attempted burglary, burglary, and criminal mischief. At approximately 7:30 that morning, Sgt. Michael Straten and Police Officers David Chicara and Donovan Ortiz responded to the Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St., on reports that a man who matched Batistasoriano’s description was inside. He was located, the warrant was confirmed, and Batista was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest located a screwdriver in his possession. Batistasoriano was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on the warrant and an additional charge of possession of burglary tools. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

8. On Sept. 5, 2025, at approximately 9:50 a.m., Police Officer Harry Montalvo was on patrol and observed a woman he could identify as Diane Luciano on the 300 block of Jackson Street. He knew she had three active warrants out of Hoboken. When he tried to stop her, Luciano refused and walked away. When Officer Montalvo followed her, she became agitated, yelled at him, and continued to walk away, despite multiple warnings that if she didn’t stop, she would be arrested. During arrest, Luciano attempted to resist by laying on top of her arm to prevent handcuffing. Sgt. Steven Kranz, Sgt. Tyler Soto and Police Officer Rose Kanan arrived on the scene. A search incident to arrest located a glass cylindrical pipe burnt on both sides and a push rod. She was charged with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. The warrants, two for theft and one for shoplifting out of Hoboken, were confirmed. Luciano was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

9. On Sept.6, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Hoboken Police Officers arrested 37-year-old Marsha Castillo of Hoboken, after it was learned she purposefully hid another individual, later identified as 28-year-old Donasia Hicks of Elizabeth, from law enforcement because Hicks was wanted on a warrant for aggravated assault. Both were transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where Castillo was charged with hindering apprehension, processed, and released. Hicks was processed on the warrant and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Corrections Facility.

10. On Sept. 6, 2025, at approximately 3:15 a.m., Sgt. Michael Straten observed two men walk into Garage B, 47 Second St., start yelling at another group, and then punch one of the people in the other group. Sgt. Michael Losurdo and multiple patrol officers arrived to assist. The fight was broken up, and 20-year-old Yajuan Rodriguez of Vernon and 22-year-old Jesus Romeo of Paterson were arrested. As the two men were being escorted out of the garage, another individual, identified as 22-year-old Nicole Lugo of Passaic, ran into the garage and attempted to physically intervene with the arrest. After being advised multiple times not to intervene, she pushed an officer. While being placed under arrest, Lugo continuously pulled away and kicked multiple officers. All three were transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Rodriguez was charged with aggravated assault. Romero was charged with disorderly conduct and simple assault. Lugo was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing the administration of law, and aggravated assault on law enforcement officers. All three were processed and ultimately released with summonses.

11. On Sept. 6, 2025, at approximately 5:40 a.m., Police Officers Jaydan Gonzalez and Donovan Ortiz responded to the Hoboken University Medical Center, 308 Willow Ave., on reports of a patient with drugs found in his possession. An on-scene investigation revealed the individual, later identified as 51-year-old Daniel Marrero of New Brunswick, had 12 wax folds containing a white powdery substance believed to be CDS heroin and one empty wax fold. Marrero was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of CDS. It was discovered he had two warrants; one out of Hoboken and one out of Jersey City. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

12. On Sept. 6, 2025, at approximately 12 p.m., Police Officers Bianca Arroyo and Remy Garcia-Marte responded to the 700 block of Washington Street on reports of an individual demanding he be paid for washing windows that he was not hired to wash. An investigation identified the actor to be 59-year-old Joseph Crandell of Hoboken and revealed that he threatened employees of the store. Crandell was charged with robbery on a warrant. At approximately 9 p.m. the next day, Crandell turned himself into Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was processed on the robbery charges and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

13. On Sept. 7, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Police Officer Nicklas Valerius processed the arrest of Wilbie Rosario-Rodriguez, who was brought into Hoboken Police Headquarters by Bayonne Police, on a warrant for theft of services. After processing, he was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

14. On Sept. 7, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., an individual identified as 39-year-old Angelo Viola of Jersey City, walked into Hoboken Police Headquarters, to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant out of Middletown. He was released with a new court date.

15. On Sept. 7, 2025, at approximately 8:05 p.m., Police Officer John Rodriguez was on patrol at Church Square Park when a woman waved him down and told him that an individual, later identified as 63-year-old Michael Ramos of Hoboken, had taken her purse. Police Officers Brian Kim and Marvin DeJesus responded to assist. An on-scene investigation discovered that Ramos had a warrant out of Hoboken for false reports. He was arrested and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

16. On Sept. 8, 2025, at approximately 9:05 a.m., Sgt. Wilfredo Gomez and Police Officers Bianca Arroyo and Jennifer Lee responded to the 600 block of Sixth Street on reports of a man sleeping inside the hallway of a Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA) building and possibly in possession of drug paraphernalia. When they arrived, they observed a man who fit the description, could identify him as 44-year-old Marcus Morales of Jersey City, and knew he was not a resident of the HHA building. It was discovered Morales had an active warrant out of Union City and he was placed under arrest. A search located a small plastic bag containing five white rock like substances, believed CDS crack cocaine, steel wool, and a small plastic orange capsule with white powered residue. He was charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal trespassing. He was ultimately processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

17. On Sept. 8, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Police Officers Valentino Salgado, John Rodriguez, and John Lawton responded to the area of Second Street and Sinatra Drive on reports of an altercation. Officers separated the two individuals, both of whom appeared to be highly intoxicated. Police Officer Brandon Fitzgibbons arrived on the scene to assist. An on-scene investigation revealed one of the individuals, later identified as 42-year-old Steven Diaz of Hoboken, had hit another person multiple times following a verbal disagreement. During the investigation, Diaz became uncooperative and disorderly, ignoring multiple commands to sit down and stop yelling. He eventually obeyed orders to calm down, and he was allowed to leave the scene, however he began to once again interfere with the investigation and threatened officers and EMT’s on the scene. He continued to approach officers even after being told multiple times to stop. Diaz was arrested for obstruction and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where he was processed. He was later released into the custody of an area hospital.

18. On Sept. 9, 2025, at approximately 12 a.m., Police Officers Brian Kim and Valentino Salgado were flagged down by an employee at CVS, 59 Washington St., to report that store security was holding a man who had shoplifted inside the store. An on-scene investigation revealed that the individual in custody, later identified as 25-year-old Ahmed Romer of Irvington, had grabbed a beverage, opened it, began drinking it, and headed toward the exit without paying. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with shoplifting, before being released with a summons. A few hours later, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Police Officers Zackary Guido and Gonzalez responded to the same CVS after Romer had re-entered, despite being told earlier that he was not allowed back in. He was removed from the store and charged with trespassing. He was transported to a local hospital where he was released from police custody.

19. On Sept. 9, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Police Officers Alyssa Rivera and Shyenna Vega responded to the 300 block of First St., on reports of someone spray painting multipole buildings. Police Officer A Olivera was in the area working an outside employment, when he observed a man matching the description. Officers followed the man, later identified as 31-year-old Egill Olaffson of Hoboken, and observed him begin to spray paint a garage. Officers stopped and arrested him for criminal mischief. An on-scene investigation determined Olaffson had spray painted at least six properties. He was ultimately released with a summons.

20. On Sept. 10, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officers David Chicara, Anish Bhisey, Brian Kim, and David Smentkowski responded to the area of 7th and Jackson Streets on reports of a man threatening two other people with a knife. Officers located an individual who fit the description nearby, and he was identified as 27-year-old Gonzalo Perez-Perez of Jersey City. A large knife was also found in the area. Perez was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where he was processed on charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of weapons for unlawful purposes, making terroristic threats, and tampering. He was released on summons.

21. On Sept. 10, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Sgt. James Barbaro and Police Officers Bianca Arroyo and Jessica Pizanie, responded to Hoboken City Hall, to arrest 28-year-old Zachary Nemiri of Jersey City. Earlier in the afternoon, Nemiri had been in court and was told he had to serve ten days at the Hudson County Correctional Facility. When Security Officers attempted to place him under arrest for transport, Nemiri ran out of the building. He eventually came back and was placed under arrest. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, charged with escapefrom detention, and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

22. On Sept. 10, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., 34-year-old Jamil Simms was transported from East Orange to Hoboken Police Headquarters, to be processed on charges of failure to appear on driving while intoxicated charges. After processing, Simms was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
