Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Wanaque Police Chief Keith V. Spillane
announce that on October 19, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Wanaque Police
Department responded to the area of 942 Ringwood Avenue on a reported motor vehicle
collision. Four vehicles, including a Honda Accord, Lexus GS-350, Subaru Legacy and BMW 2
were involved in the collision. The driver of the Honda Accord, a 26-year-old male from
Wanaque, and the driver of the Lexus GS-350, a 63-year-old male from New York, New York
were pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
