Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Officer-In-Charge Patrick
Murray announce that on October 21, 2025, at approximately 6:00 a.m., a man was struck by a
vehicle in the area of Route 19 and Route 80 in Paterson. The Paterson Police Department
responded to the location and located the victim Damon McNeill, a 40-year-old male from
Paterson. The victim was subsequently pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
