1. On October 21st, 2025, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol
Division were informed of a theft that occurred near our Municipal Court chambers.
During the on-scene investigation, it was discovered that 46-year-old Francesco C.
Ventricelli of North Bergen, NJ, committed a theft of another individual’s belongings
while they were inside of the court room. Mr. Ventricelli was located in front of
Guttenberg Town Hall, arrested and charged with theft [2C:20-3A]. Upon the
completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Ventricelli was issued his complaint
summons and released from police custody.
2. On October 22nd, 2025, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police
Department’s Patrol Division arrested 29-year-old Zaire B. Bowman of Belleville, NJ,
after discovering that he had active warrants issued by the Newark and Elizabeth
Municipal Courts. Mr. Bowman was then transported to the Guttenberg Police
Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing,
Mr. Bowman was released on his own recognizance, pending his next court
appearances.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed
innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
