Passaic Teenager Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 4:20 a.m. on November 1, 2025, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to Hackensack University Medical Center on a report that a 19-year-old male from Passaic, New Jersey, arrived at the hospital via private vehicle seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds. Based on the initial investigation it was learned the shooting took place in the area of Third Avenue and East 26th Street in Paterson, New Jersey.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
